577 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Crash"

This cymbal was recorded in an old session i found from my time at university. I believe the microphone was a akg 414. Recorded in a studio environment.

Close-proximity recording of a fire poker being forcefully put back into the set of fire utensils. Rattling of the set is stopped abruptly.

This sound is when i was in la recording myself and witnessed a near accident and the car sped off after someone cut him off on the road.

This recording is for people who hate the highlighted high frequencies. An old sabian aax small recorded with a røde m5 mic. I the created two copies of the original recording:1. On the first file i applied low pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. 2. On the second file i applied high pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. Then i lowered -2 db all the spectrum except for the band from 3. 5 khz to 9. 1 khz and i applied hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. I merged the two files. The envelope was very flat due to the compression and thus i reshaped it on wavelab (process > level envelope. . . Or press the "v" keyboard button; draw a natural fade out in steps [non-linear]). The result is a warm crash for people who don't want them loud.

Very high velocity stroke with 5a wooden mallet in paiste pst3 20" crash on stand. Recorded with pair of akg p120 mics on stands and tascam dr-60 mkii recorder. Middle-side recording technique. Middle mic next to crash, side mic in a distance of 1m. Recorded in tiny kitchen with doors closed. Few ringing partials were tamed with parametric equalizer. Sound faded out in flstudio edison. Recorded in 96khz and 24bit.

Crash sample one-shot. These crashes were all made with virtual drum synths and processed through some analogue console emulation and added saturation. They were then trimmed to get rid of any dead space before or after the sample and finally normalized to 0db. This file is part of my anu crashes pack.

Picking up a broken picture frame, and glass shards moving around. Works great for a crash sweetener, or as debris.

Made in audacity.
