Inspired by a drawing posted on airradsirens. Com some time ago, a huge siren that is a hybrid of a thunderbolt and a hurricane siren, supercharged by a large industrial air compressor. You do not want to be anywhere close to this beast when it goes off!.

A few strokes from a felt tip pen. I couldn't find any of the right length on here so thought i'd share. Unfortunately these are recorded on a mobile phone, but i've not done any audio processing so you can gain and de-noise to your own needs.

I wanted the sound of a sword being unsheathed so i took a nice zingy metal sword (from hello_flower's sword. Wav) and added a little chunk of wooden click at the beginning (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav). This is my first submitted freesound hope you like it.

Work in progress speech synthesis speech, all drawn in photosounder. I've drawn the basic vocalisation by drawing horizontal lines in the 100 hz range using the white spray with the harmonics modifier, and modulated that using the dark spray to create the formants. I also added a couple of fricatives with the white spray, but it's incomplete.

Blok modular set to bang on random keys/throw random parameters in various places. Sort of a kind of fm synthesis but i'm pretty sure blok can do a lot of extra things like place filters/waveshapers after the modulator but before the main oscillator. Don't want to give away much else but you can improv random textures by drawing in a waveshaper window/right-click to drag the drawing from one side to another. Also you can use the atan button to scale the notes on some sort of curve by distorting the note values. I could've added delay/reverb/eq/ ambience but i wanted it to be as dry as possible because that's personally what i look for, raw sounds that you can choose to change if you like. No edits aside from normalizing the. Wav file.

Grudge movie croak sound interpretation. The sound was created using my own voice drawing in air while croaking. It was recorded using mixcraft 6 and a samson q1u microphone. The only effects used were a delay set to long repeat, a touch of reverb while mixing and some compression while recording. But the sound is my voice, in fact all the sounds i upload here are self made. :o).

I drew this thx deep note imitation in photosounder by drawing several lines with the white spray with the harmonics modifier. I first had a look at the original thx sound and tried to reproduce what i saw. The final chorus sounds bad because it's hand-drawn, so the right notes aren't hit plus the lines aren't straight so the pitches keep moving around a bit.

The sounds of a soft summer evening storm in the city drawing to a close. Recorded on a blue yeti from my studio window that faces the gangway between buildings. Some distant sounds of my partner in the apartment can be heard within the first 30 seconds. Throughout the remainder, there are occasional sounds from the street as cars pass on the wet road.

After spending a weekend putting together a giant wardrobe (from everyones favourite swedish furniture store) for my girlfriend i thought i should reward myself by making some recordings of it. This is a close mic recording of one of the internal draws. For this recording i used my sennheiser mkh416 going into a sound devices mp-1 preamp and recorded to a tascam dr-680.

Vocal, speaking, and audio snippets of interviews of visual artists that i did as part of a collaborative music project in 2018. The idea was to chop up and use these samples for a trance / punk form of music - which we jokingly called prance music. I used some, but never released any music with it in the end. Maybe one day i will, but in the meantime - i hope you can find some use of these.

I accidentally recorded this sequence when i left my camcorder on while filming some drawing tutorials. My warehouse style studio is in the inner city at street level opening onto a street closure/park so you will hear some faint bird tweeting in the background. Near the beginning and end there is the sound of a large industrial sliding door and the loud clanging is a drop bolt on an external metal security grill gate. Wind blown chimes add to the scene. I only applied a very low level audio clean-up using adobe soundbooth cs3 to reduce hiss.

This is one of those sound effects you kind of go "huh?" about when you hear. Let me explain what this is and how i imagine it being used. To me, it sounded like a good sound effect for when a computer (whether in a game or animation or whatever) screen starts writing down text (in other words, when a message is displayed on a screen and is written down one letter at a time until the complete message is shown). There are two versions here. The first one fades out (to be used a single time), and the second one is loopable (so you can loop it to make it last longer). Okay, i'm done with the long boring description. I hope you enjoy this weird, different type of sound effect :). P. S. The sloth has two outputs x and y. I connected x to control frequency on one oscillator and y to control amplitude on another oscillator. Frequency experiment on left channel. Amplitude experiment on the right. The file starts as the amplitude is 0. Next time the amplitude is 0 (almost) is at about 48 sec. Then 48 sec later, at 1:37 the amplitude is 0 again. The two cycles are not identical. The tones are harder to analyze. . . X and y outputs. I guess those corresponds to x and y in a coordinate system.
