This is a recording of buttsbury wash, which goes across a small road in essex, uk. At about 1:15 a car can be heard going through the water. The water is quite deep and the car stalled after it got to the other side, though managed to restart. The recording was made with a sennheiser m6/k6 attached to a zoom h5. Minimal editing with audacity.

This was the second clap for carers in the uk, which took place at 20:00 on 2nd april 2020. The focus was on showing appreciation for the nhs and other key workers. A couple of dogs and a blackbird joined in. The recording is in essex. Recorded with a zoom h5 on a tripod with some editing in audacity.

Other birds that can be heard are pheasant, robin, woodpigeon, wren, collared dove, peacock (not native but this bird is living wild in the area), carrion crow, black headed gull, starling, magpie and goldfinch. The editing was mainly to reduce the worst of the aircraft noise. There is still some aircraft and other human-related noise as well as some wind occasionally.
