A collection of sounds, recorded at the fast-food parking lot. An uncommonly-warm day in the great north, the window was partway down so there is an outdoor ambient background. Straw is unwrapped and stuffed through the plastic lid of a drink, making its characteristic shriek. Remembering when as kids, four of us would sit around a table before the age of masking, and work the straws in the lids to generate a racket, i did that. This could be used as a cartoon-ish engine start failure, sounds like an old fiat. Then the crunching of a paper bag as a decadent burger is extracted.

Back to normal. Nothing really special here excepting the unusual tom sound that seems out of pitch.

The bass melody was produced by applying a modulation to the frequency of the bass. Not much has changed from 003.

This one has an extremely thick bass that pulsates crazily. At the same time, it sounds like a low tom sound.

Lots of strong bass on this set. The bass sound was produced by lowering the frequency to about 20 on reaktor - arobic. Amazingly, it sounds fun.

Back to a normal loop. This loop contains more noise. . . Though they sound like a rough shaker in the background. The bassdrum is slightly not prevalent.

Maybe this is a bit too loud. The overdrive and the crazy percussion instruments adds a bit too much on this loop. I think it needs to be refined.

This is a variation of the loop: 005 from the mitosis pack. The odd bass sound (or melody) is the result of tweaking too much with the modulation.

The mitosis pack contains several loops with melodies. I removed the modulation and let the bass run without changing a pitch for this loop. See also loops 005 and 6.

I changed the synthesizer's ranges and played a bit with reaktor's structures until i realized i was playing with the frequency range. The result is a radically different sound that sounds more like a machine.

Recorded myself typing on our old desktop computer's now garbage keyboard likely over a decade ago with my old nokia e66 smartphone. I then edited this recording yesterday to find out how much i would be able to improve the already decent quality. I may upload more keyboard and keypad sounds, and you may contact me to request more.

Created using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ). Here i have used zynaddsubfx for the hoover type sound and 3 instances of glitch2 vst on the drum loop that i created. There is some compression, stereo widening and side-chaining used also.

Changing the pitch, warping the sample, stretching it, complexing it. Setting the shaper to receive only audio, creating a popping effects, great for sound design if you wanna process it more, cut it down. Or even use it as a percussion in a loop. . Up to you.

( i used a higher resolution samplerate to export this file, which created a further glitch effect on the glitch2 vst,i believe it is maybe hardcoded to 41000hz or perhaps lmms can't handle higher sample rates on vst plugins ).

This is a sound effect for when somebody or something (like a bone being snapped in a fight breaks). When an actor breaks somebody's arm wrist or ankle. It is really good and you can get creative with this. This is no doubt the best sound effect i have ever made. Try it out! all you have to do is give me credit in the credits if you use this sound. Zoom h4n 2018 - onboard microphones. This recording is 17 full minutes of ambiance from inside an in-n-out fast food restaurant. This in-n-out is located in downtown burbank, california located at 761 n 1st st, burbank, ca 91502. The great thing about this recording is that it's free of all music that would invalidate the recording due to copyright restrictions. In-n-out, unlike other fast food chains, does not allow music in their dining rooms. This is because most in-n-out locations are so busy and constantly loud, the addition of music would create an unbearable sense of mayhem. So, rest assured you may use this ambiance in your project with no restrictions!. The beginning of the recording starts during a busy lunch hour.
