I recorded people blowing up fireworks in my neighborhood last night with a zoom 6 using the stereo mics. Then i isolated individual sounds and tweaked the eq some in adobe audition, then ran those sounds back-to-back to make these "machine gun" sounds. Let me know what you think? (i might try making some more versions of these).

I needed a nice clear, slightly ominous match being lit, and so we created this composite using kitchen matches in the shower with a zoom h2.

Used audacity to make a chirp sound, i think it's sine-sawtooth. Pretty easy thing. Nothing to lose from it being mp3. It's a pretty dirtily made sound.

Shots from a sako85 hunting rifle, has been noise-reduced so sounds a little bit metallic, but still more than servicable.

Layered out of an sks, ak47, uzi and a snare drum with a metallic texture. A short decayed 808 kick drum is occupying the sub frequencies. A bolt mechanic layer added before and after the shot transient. Two echo/reverbs were added for the stereo width. Shell eject layer added. All layers grouped together and lightly compressed and saturated. Made in ableton live. Enjoy.

I was recording with my wireless mic and i had dropped it on the floor and got a sound similar to this one so i started to try to remake it and this is what i came up with. I hope you enjoy this sound as i did creating it. I would like to know what you use it for that is it credit would be nice but not necessary.

A busy sunny summer sunday morning in bellefonte, pennsylvania, us. On this recording you will hear cicadas, traffic on the street at the bottom of the hill, brief voices and a following chorus of barking dogs, police and fire sirens, and church bells. Here's my first field recording and first upload on here. I recorded my friend's fireplace in his apartment for a theater production through my college for which i was the sound designer and sound board operator. I used a zoom q3hd with its built-in stereo xy microphones at about a foot or so away from the fire (on the bricks directly encasing the fireplace) with some make-shift baffling around the fireplace (safe, i know). This track is an edited version, a sort of "best of".

Some fire for you;. What you hear here is me getting a match out the matchbox, and striking it, and then let burn the match, till it flickers off, i blow at the end, as if it was not out yet.
