I've spotted two skaters on a pavement and i decided to spend my last few free megabytes on the sounds they were making. The skaters were rolling on a hard pavement made of small square panels. Recorded with rare pair of xy mics of zoom h2 (hand-held) @ 96khz/24-bit. Unprocessed and unedited recording. Converted to flac with audacity.

This sound is made by my old continuity meter when the contacts are moved around. The clicking sounds similar to that of a more modern geiger counter or dosimeter. I have heard a few over the internet and some of them produce a beeping noise when the max range of radiation level is reached. Please feel free to used this sound. And remember to rate and comment. I created this sound using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) using various ladspa effects and layered a few zynaddsubfx synths, with some automation to tame the fall off's by automating the volume faders. Enjoy :).

It was made with extraordinary plugins erhu guzheng yangquin and a sense of extraordinary expression, valley reverb, and glides. Authentic expression of chinese traditional instruments is hard to imitate so this scene is very short, but useful. This sound was created from an image of 16 bits / channel grayscale. You can see the image on the following link https://goo. Gl/j5cuhp. The image has been exported to raw format and then was imported into audacity where i applied effects and plugins. The effects and plugins that i use for these sounds called "image sonification" are: eq, paulstretch, reverb among others.

I used bdx for the kick, sent through disto-fx and various eq plugins. Cymbalistic was used for the hihats, with further eq and gating placed on it. The snare was from a free sample pack (i can't remember the name of) sent through a resonator, eq plugins and some soft-clippers to give it a bigger sound. Clipmax was used on the master channel.

Note: audio may not sound of good quality in preview. A bass loop made with the free brainstormer synth (it's awesome, you can find it here: http://roazhondsp. Storm-mastering. Com/), and then heavy modulated using lots of bandpass & notch filtering automation, pitch automation, distortion, resampling, & multiband compression. I'd recommend to splice things up a bit by slicing it into pieces & arranging them into something new.

Something went wrong with the audio! first i was going to record the sound of the wind. I placed the equipment, checked the audio and left. As i came back i realized that the audio file is full of interference!first i was quite angry about it, but then i thought that it is a pretty good sound effect!.

There is nothing that sounds as refreshing as a soda can being opened and hearing the energetic bubbles. Open happiness and taste the feeling of coca-cola in this recording! the sound file includes the opening of a coke can, pouring into a glass, placing the can down, and drinking the soda.

This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great, i think it's just passable though. Simple, sad chords with an ambient drum pattern accompanying. I created this with logic pro x and a basic soft synth that come with the software. The drums have some effects from fabfilter's "timeless" plugin, and also some distortion, but nothing too fancy. This is my first sound contributed to the community so they'll hopefuly get more interesting as i improve, but feel free to use it as you wish.

Soundscape of some pads. . Strange how the midi was created. . Used a granular device to create some sort of glitchy effect, then just converted that "melody" to midi in ableton, added stock ableton sound. And post processed to give it pad and ambience.
