Another prime example why the tascam dr40 is complete useless as a field recorder. Picked up this interference somewhere literally in a field in the middle of nowhere. Do not buy.
This is the truck that picks up the rubbish. First you hear the brakes squeek and then the beep beep back-up warning. Rode nt1-a > mixer > computer > energyxt.
A bit of sad various piano music, can be used for all kind of projects. Created by using a synthesizer and recorded with a zoom h5. Edited with audacity.
A rather bass-heavy 18 second 160 bpm looping sample, with the usual pile of synth garbage on top. Created in fl studio, making use of the toxic biohazard plugin.
An empty beer bottle rolling on a rough pavement / sidewalk late at night. Recorded on a sony xperia z3, and slightly edited to remove the majority of background noise.
This is a short sound clip where i just crumpled up a page then threw it in the bin. This was done in a school library, i feel it also adds to the feel of the sound.
I found a bunch of old broken tripods and random plastic pieces and slammed it on the floor as hard as i can, and then i added some distortion in audacity to give it that "punch" sound.
Cool harmony i made in fruity loops. I recommend using an equalizer to get rid of the high pitched squeaking noise. It didn't show up in my daw for some reason.
Sound of tractor on landfill. Tracktor starts working crushing garbage. Sounds of beeps during reverse gear. Recorded on zoom h4n using røde ntg2 microphone. No post processing.
A walking recording, starts off with a very noisy garbage truck, then all sorts of other street sounds in east village, nyc. Ends with me entering my apartment building through a double door. Explicit content starts at around -2:00 where a guy wants the *whole* world to hear his drama and he uses some explicit language while i'm waiting to cross the avenue to my building. File also edited a little bit for time.
750 ml glass bottle dropped into a 30 gal plastic trash can filled with a wad of plastic shopping bags to cushion fall recorded from 2 feet away and 18 inches above can with a sterling audio st51 condenser microphone.
A fly buzzing around. The thumps are the fly bumping into the wall and a lampshade. This file is dry, so there's some low-frequency garbage from my holding the mic and following the fly. A high pass at around 200hz fixes that. Feel free to use this for whatever you want. 100% public domain.
Made with mashing a few samples together. Realistically, it should sound like a metal can hitting the ground. But i used it for throwing a can at the ground (before impact), which works too. Please comment where you used it! <3.
Recording of an aluminium can being dropped and rolling. This sound was meant to be used in an animation as if it was coming from another room so the distant-like processed version is also included. Gear. Focusrite scarlett 2i2 3rd gensennheiser mkh50.
Ambience of an traditional austrian coffeehouse. Recorded within the bar. Very light walla, dishes, coffeemachine, key and money rattles from the waiter, water drain, garbage,. . . Recordingdevice: tascam dr-100mk2, 44,1khz, 24 bit.
