A strange lighter that looks like a zippo, but uses gas and is activated by a button, rather than using lighter fluid. Inherited from my father. *no credit is needed, but would love it if you shared your creation, should you use this sound!.

Driving around town to the gas station in my car a 1985 ford escort mk3. Did a little tuning:) recorded with my phone inside the car.

Mowing my lawn with my fiskars stay sharp push reel mower. No engine noise to worry about, just blades on the reel turning and cutting grass.

Inflation of nos balloon recorded on wide diaphragm condenser, with acoustic dampening around the mic but not in studio conditions - should be pretty cool for a non synthy noise sweep, or for a snare layer.

A short "fireball" sounding woosh. Originally created for game sfx. A combination of a gas stove lighting and burning, fan hums from several computers, and generated brown noise in audacity, all combined, equalized and shapped with a short fade in and longer fade out.

Recorded a lighter being lit using a zoom h6 recorder with an xy mic and foam screen and tripod. Recorded in front of the h6 using a small bic lighter. I recorded different versions of single flick and multiple flicks. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.

Sound of steam through hose, could also be interpreted at stream of water through hose. Pressured gas trough a tube. Clean audio no noise and has different variation of steam sounds. Tags: geyser, steam, air, piston, hose, exhaust, gasket, pressure, hot air.

I was warming up the fireplace and the flame just really took off. It sounded really epic and sinister so i decided to record it. The menacing vibe was captured fairly well with the recording too i think.

As my home brew beer is fermenting, co2 is piped off through an air lock. This sound is actually the bubbles of gas being released into a container of water but it does sound like drips. Recorded at 48k on a tascam dr-40 and sennheiser mic. I've added a bit of reverb.

Shook and opened a 24 bottle of ginger ale and recorded outside with low street noise, i shook up the bottle so it would explode and fizz all over.

An internal gas combustion engine starting up, and then cutting grass as it moves across the lawn. The clip is recorded from an elevated vantage point about 25 feet directly above the lawnmower. In the background some lawn debris can be heard hitting the blade and getting tossed. The variable pitch motor slows as it encounters heavier grass. It is the first grass cutting of the season and, being on the west coast, the grass is very thick with moisture enhanced growth. The recording is made with a high quality stereo zoom h1n portable audio recorder. However, the.
