429 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Generator"

Generator behind a local petco in mexico city. Apparently i got some ringmod out of this? it sounds amazing with a highpass filter on it. Great layer for sound design :).

5 quantussy cells controlling 2 oscillators, 1 wave folder, 1 filter and 1 drum module (bmc analog drum). Even the pitch of the drum is controlled by one of the quantussy cells. The drum sound to fed to the feedback in on doepfer a-199 spring reverb.

Some generative campfire sfx made with sunvox. The crackling sounds were made by taking some highpassed white noise, ring modulating it with some more white noise, and then using a noise gate to usilate the loudest 'crackles'. The rumbling was created using lowpassed white noise. Everything was sent into a reverb and a stereo expander.

Patch consiting of- jupiter storm- jerkoff- filter- 2 x lfo- mixer- (spring reverb). Jupiter storm and jerkoff is in a "weak feedback loop". . . Purpose with patch is to evaluate the quality of the generative sounds/musicit will never repeat it self but there is some cyclic repetitionone cycle is about 50 sec - goodonly short sounds - badamplitude variation - badpitch variation - goodtimbre variation - okaymusical value - low to mediumentertaining - medium.

Recording of a 1995 compaq computer desktop hard drive. Features electronic whirring, powering up / down sounds, whirring, clicking, "memory access" noise. Could be used for e. G. A movie scene with computers in the background, glitchy techno, etc.

2hp osc is fm modulating bermuda (using fm in). Pitch cv to osc is controlled by sloth and attenuverter. The bermuda tri output singnal is shaped by doepfer vactrol vcf. The vcf is modulated by sloth (cv in 1) and jerkoff (cv in 2). The noise it from dan, going to polivioks vcf. Polivoks is modulated by sloth. Output from vcf is going to vca controlled by another sloth.

This is a series of sounds created using brown or brownian noise to generate 'silence' that can be put into the background of videos (or other media). The names are just descriptive to differentiate them and don’t include any added sounds. If the sound of one is close, then try others in the pack. Creative commons zero licence, but would be great to hear from you if the sounds are useful.

A loud, buzzing hum from a power washer compressor. Recorded on a marantz pmd660 with a roland dr-20 dynamic microphone.

I'm attempting to create a controllable thunderstorm for a film, and this is my first legitimate attempt. This recording consists of 4 samples of rain, and another 3 samples of rain+thunder that i recorded one afternoon. Equipment used was the inbuilt mics on a roland r-26, and a sennheiser me66 into a sound devices 702. The clips were recorded at 96khz/24-bit, and they were processed at 48khz/24-bit. For processing, i put the samples into kyma, and crossfaded for texture. The howling wind sound is an analog-style low pass filter's frequency, level, and resonance being controlled by a wacom intuos4 pen/tablet. The rain slowly swells, which was done by changing parameters of a granular reverb. The thunder was also controlled by the wacom tablet, with x, y, and z (pressure) dimensions mapped to making the thunder swell in level, density, and texture. This could have been output in surround, but i don't have that many monitors ;). This style of "rain-synthesis" can also go on indefinitely. Please let me know what you think of the quality of this track; eg, if it sounds real, if the wind sounds ridiculous, too much thunder, etc. Use this sound (wherever) if you want to, or let me know if you'd like an mp3 of this, or for it to last longer. My desktop pc's front audio out sometimes (depending on the wifi connection) makes various sounds, which i tried to record. . . Not sure i was successful. :).

A mixture of different noise types (pink and white) to create a looping, static-like sound. Could probably be used for lots of games or animations, especially sci-fi ones. Uses the "zero" (no credit) license.
