I recorded this groove at an art gallery. This exhibition was about bergama. It was very annoying when listen clean. Because original recording of this location is for the investing people for the spesific idea. It is already progressive grooving but after noise reduction and filtering audio, i explore an interesting groove again. It was more progressive than the others. I started recording a vinyl lp into my computer before realising that i hadn’t set the anti-skate properly and the needle was stuck in the lead-in groove. I trimmed this bit of snap crackle n’ pop and kept it in the hope that it might be useful for me or anyone else. Have fun.

This is a basic dubstep beat. It was done in reason 7. It is useful in that it shows you a good way to construct a beat. It consists of four 4-bar measures, each progressing from the previous. In this way, you can see how to write a good beat, by starting off simple and building from there. Traditional dubstep drums are very spare and sporadic with the use of symbols. I never liked drum beats until i heard dubstep !.

Wrote/recorded a free dance tune at 100bpm using ableton live 9. Basic 4 chord song structure (a, e, g, d). Synth and synth sounds are a combination of ableton stock plugins (bass groove, might as well synth brass, celestial pad) and free online synth vsts (dexed, synth1 vst). This is a first in a series of loops made with the x-base09 drum-kit i have posted long time ago, i thought this would be a nice addition. Loops will be mainly processed in live9. Information will be available depending on the loop. This loop is a dry unprocessed loop, all i did was reduce the release on one of the kicks, as it has a long delay, and i didn't want that in the background of this loop, some midi velocity on the hi-hats, and i added a groove (chachacha) with only 10% quantization. This first loop was mainly to show the original sound of the individual hits as they where recorded, playing as a loop to give you a better picture of the sounds and therefore i added it to the x-base kit instead of x-base loop pack.

Note: i have created a newer version which has better looping. It is called drum beat loop 2. 0. This is a drum beating. It is 12 seconds long but can be looped. It was createdusing ableton live (including plugins like acdgen, drumbrain, and polyrandom). The files were then combined and edited using audacity. Feel free to comment your opinions on this. Note: while this did loop just fine in my tests, some software don't handle the looping as well (like groove music pauses before repeating). If the looping doesn't work the first time, try using a different software. You can easily do this on a windows pc by right clicking on the file and pressing open with (i am sure there is also a way to do this on a macbook but i have never used one so i am not sure how you would do it). I combined an ambient bar crowd recording that i found here with a funky little back beat that i also found on this site and made a great cubicle noise blocker / filter. I use this at work with headphones on when i'm trying to concentrate and drown out conversations in the office. Also good for when i work from home and i'm trying to drown out the tv and other distractions. The crowd noise is excellent at diffusing regular office conversation and the little funky back beat keeps the crowd noise from getting boring. This works really well even at fairly low volume i. E. You dont have to crank it loud to drown out the distractions. Hope you like it and thanks to everyone for the great sounds on this site.
