4,106 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Hit"

I made this bass drum using one of the glass hit samples i found on this website. Sounds nice on big sound systems, may destroy smaller ones.

120bpm 4/4 natural analogic tambourine rhythm (48khz/24b). Recorded with : nt1-a rode microphone / motu soundcard / black lion preamp. -cubase 11pro.

Very loud metal crash. Recorded for an audioplay in which a man is throwing an angry fit. Stereo binaural mics.

A set of orchestral hits with different instrumentations. All instruments play the note c. A: full orchestra with cymbals and bells (*1)b: full orchestra without cymbals and bellsc: no untuned percussiond: col legno strings (*2)e: no woodwindsf: no brassg: no percussionh: only brass & percussioni: only woodwinds and percussionj: only strings and percussionk: only col legno strings and percussionl: only strings and woodwindsm: only strings and brass. (*1) the cymbals tend to sound weird when you change the pitch (in my opinion) so all other samples don't use them. (*2) col legno is when the strings are hit with the wooden back of the bow. These are very dry samples with no additional reverb or any other processing.

Timpano, 71 cm diameter, tuned approximately to g. Several hits, from very soft to very loud. Played with a yarn mallet, directly in the center of the drum head. Samples are a little 'cleaned up' (noise reduction, silence removed, etc. ) but otherwise unprocessed.

To create this sound i hit an apple with a pair of scissors in my bedroom. It sounds as if someone is being hit over the head with a hammer - i created it as foley for a student film for this purpose. To record i used my sontronics stc-10 microphone and my audiobox interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 16 bit.

Recording of a pair of oven mitts being hit together. Might be useful in a game as an inventory sound. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity. Used audacity's noise removal filter to to remove background noise. For this file, i isolated the samples i liked and left a small gap of silence between them for separation later. Attribution appreciated but not required.

Below a highway bridge with cars clomping over the concrete segments. One gap has a loose metal buckle which clangs when it is hit.

Played with shaping low-frequency noise and speeding it up, made a nice, usable cymbal. Will also upload original speed.

I'm a student studying sound and i and recording sounds this is one of the recordings. This sound is done by hitting a big pillow by hand.
