This is a cc0 sound, based on (at time of download) cc0 parrot ar drone 2. 0 take off, flight and landing. This is a flac file. It is lossless like wav but compressed like ogg/mp3. Use audacity or fre:ac to convert quickly to mp3/wav/ogg.

Very strong sounding grasshopper. When i rode home from work at 11 a. M. I heard a strong sounding grasshopper in a neighbor's busch i run into my house and picked up my recorder and mic and run out tried coming closest possible for good sound, but it was a little too close because the hopper become silent. A recording i made using my 3dio binaural microphones (and zoomh1 as the recorder). Set up the tripod near the door to my balcony. You can hear the wind against the house, rattling a little in some places. Rain comes and goes, against the glass door. Some cars can be heard outside, on the wet concrete. Recorded on thursday, 24th of february in noord-holland, the netherlands. Feel free to use this for any project you might have, and a mention is always appreciated.

Today i was cleaning the house on a leisurely sunday, and came across a piece of thicker paper by my printer. When i picked it up to put it in recycling, it was rather loud. There have been many times on jobs where i needed such a sound, and thought it would be a good asset to record and share. Hopefully it comes in handy for others needing this element. This recording was made by me on monday, october 20th, at approximately 7:30pm. It was done in my house in montgomery county, pa, with a rode ixy mic (the 30 pin version), attached to an iphone 4s. The iphone, with the mic, was placed on the sink, approximately 6 to 8 inches away from the toilet. The sound was recorded using rode's iphone recording software, then uploaded via their file transfer site, downloaded, and then imported to adobe audition cs6 being run on a mac book pro, and normalized.
A nice, clean, relaxing clip of running water, recorded at dusk in the seattle area. Recording the clip was not as relaxing as listening to it. I had to stoop down very uncomfortably for nine minutes until i got three minutes with no airplanes, and then i had to walk back to my aunt's house in the dark without a flashlight, though woods full of large spiders. . . I hope you'll agree it was totally worth it!---2 primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1.
This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Rode nt4 microphone compare signal-noise of phantom and battery power. Nt4, together with small electrical clock, in bed under all the pillows of the house. ;-). First 48v phantom-powersecond 9 v battery-power. Gear chain: rode nt4 with original xlr cord > sound devices 302 >tascam dr-100 mk2. My conclusion: the battery powered mic nt4 is 0. 5db more quiet. Over 6 hours of night ambient shot in the countryside near a house close to the main road. Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.
I decided to go out for the night so i thought it would be a good idea to have my sound recorder going for around 3 minutes. My ac turned on a little after. I caught a few things like fire truck sirens, and some sort of ear ringing sound. Not sure where that came from but it happened. Pretty cool vocal i made for my dubstep track. Maybe someone else might find it useful as well. :)it's loopable, but i left a bit of space at the end for the reverb, so you might want to chop it first, if you're going to loop it. 140 bpm, e minor (probably). This is a section of the pack with 50 bass drum varieties. Most of them are just minor changes and they resemble extremely "similar" sounds however they're based on different wave forms which are mixed together to form varieties. Other parameters were mashed, some may have distortions some may not. All the sounds you hear are synthesized. Generally these sounds are for dance music, some of them are well suited for more experimental music as well. But it should not be limited to just techno or trance. . . .

This audio is not a sound effect itself, however it can be used with an impulse response plugin to recreate the acoustics of a particular environment. This particular file is designed to replicate the acoustics of distant muffled club or rave. This was done using the "profiler stereo lsp plugin" and placing the microphones on the opposite corner of the speaker in a highly reverberous house forcing the audio to reverberate around a corner. After this, a low frequency boost was applied in post along with other general cleanup of the audio.
