Typing (real words!) on a kinesis advantage keyboard with cherry mx brown mechanical switches. Recorded at my desk with rode procaster, triton fethead, focusrite scarlett 2i2 into audacity. Untreated room (hence dynamic mic) but noise remoived with audacity. I needed this for my own purposes so i thought i'd upload it. I hope someone finds it useful :).

For this last week of homeworks i have revamped my favorite audio experiment so far, because it connects to me personally and i wanted it to be better!i used the jazzy sound from foolboymedia https://freesound. This is an end credits piece i wrote but never used for a project. I've noticed a few of the other pieces ive put up have been helpful to people and it's just sitting on my hard drive. This is the sound of the broken fan at the bathroom in my friends house. It sounds a lot like a cricket, but i can assure you it’s a machine- once again this was straight off my phone so sorry if the quality is pretty bad. I hope this can still be of use to you. You don’t need permission but i would like to know if anyone does use it, just for the sake of curiousity :).

This is my first time ever recording ambiance, i used the tascam dr-40, please leave any notes and suggestions on how i can better make these ambient recordings. Old work, sorry there's no more. Wav version of this. Digitally made, though i can't remember what i exactly did. . . Probably clicked a few buttons and pushed my keyboard around a few times 'till something happened in my program (was it even running when i did that?). Enjoy :).

I created this sound using lmms and 2 instances of it's zynaddsubfx plugin and a kick using the kicker plugin and some ladspa effects. I tried to emulate the "inception braaam " sound the best i could. Hopefully someone can find this useful to use in their project.

1 looping envelope and 2 vclfos in a dance (chain connected). I think its harder for this combination to find a nice pattern - equilibrium. It happens sometimes. Maybe the mixture between positive and negative cv confuses the modules. Makes it harder. I start the recording with one of the vclfos in vco-mode. After about 17 sec i swith to lfo-mode. Records and hope that a pattern should emerge. I have been listening, and looking at the wave form, in different modes, but i'm not sure if there is a pattern in this recording. . . Maybe to advanced for me. There is - some -sort of pattern repeating every 22 sec. Or?.

I had a little job which involved a cat drinking. . But first i had to record the bowl being put down. . . I placed the bowl down a few times - captured with correct room sound required. . To my amazement my cat decided to do somethign useful and actually came up to the bowl and started drinking the water. . . . . . Unfortunately i wasnt close mic'd - but my little booth is pretty quiet. . . . So thankyou oscar! you finally got a job to help pay for all those biscuits! technically he was no where near the large diaphragm cap mic , focusrite pre or motu 2408 :p.

Do whatever you want with this (like sounds or music) and credit me if you want as pk superstar256 (in a fan project) or ismo-kun games (in a commercial project). Yes, you can use this in things that can make you money, just don't make money off of this sound of its entirety in unedited form. A patch in the eventide dsp4000 kept bugging out on me and this was the result. I couldn't be mad about the glitch because it sounded so cool when it did it's thing. I was just lucky enough to capture it.

I recorded this for a short film i was working on and decided it sounded too good to keep it to myself. The mirror was broken with a kick but it can sound like it was broken by anything. It can also pass as a window breaking. Thank you for using my sounds! :3.

Walking through the streets of central gothenburg to record urban sounds, i happen across a construction site. I walk past it and onwards to record footsteps on the pavement and eventually some light traffic and trams. Recorded with iaudio x5 internal mic.

Went in and played with some sound clips i had to make them ready to upload here. Ended up adding a "chorus" filter to some high pitched noises i made for a stop-motion, and the result was this! enjoy :).

I recorded mostly nothing, then normalized it, so it was mostly loud static. I used audacity's noise remover to make the sound and it's wahwah effect to make it move across stereo space. Very interesting, good for static and alien voices.

A small test i did to see if i can emulate many games' futuristic computerized voice ui systems. 1st is a (terrible) pseudo british accent, second my regular voice modified, and third a heavily modified robotic sounding voice.

Using my recently purchased zoom h4n, i recorded the birds from my window early afternoon in belfast using the standard mic's on the recorded. A bit short, but i hope you get some use out of it :).

This is my cat charlotte laying on my chest purring. I recorded her with two yamaha pocketrak recorders and combined the two tracks and added more volume. If you upload it, all i ask is that you let me know what you are using it for. Thanks. :^).

This could be used (for example) as a sci-fi bed or other background. This sound was created using a guitar recording, modified with the usss tools for the pure data programme. I granulated it and did other things but i can't remember what.

I had to upload a sound to get my group project members to find my username so that they could find my bookmarked sounds, so i recorded myself snapping in a library on a crappy laptop mic into audacity.

A very weird sound i stretched and manipulated of my computer mic giving off some kind of feedback. I thought it might be cool as a spaceship or sci-fi sound effect.

Floor 4 lift doors opening spoken field recording elevator open i recorded this for a radio project. I needed spoken voice saying doors opening. It took ages to do this. But was worth it.

I found a set of bells somewhere and decided to record myself ringing them. I do not remember the context or where the bells were found, but they were beautiful in a strange and magical way. Someone's phone starts ringing at the end which was hilarious.

I stopped along a bike ride in order to record the sound of monument creek. In this recording, the phone mic was a few inches above the water, and i was about twenty feet from a set of mild rapids.
