Remix of wierd chimes. Wavhttp://freesound. Org/people/kwahmah_02/sounds/250253/which was a recording of a shortwave broadcast in am mode received in usb mode 1khz off frequency. I used goldwave's mechanize feature at 10000khz, then applied low pass filter at 10000 khz to filter out the newly created upper sideband, then i used mechanize again at 9000 khz, which tuned in the recording just like if i had a tuneable receiver.

Using a variety of 1980s radios connected via a headphone output to the computer, i tuned in - across the entire bandwidth - of the mw and lw channels. I also captured the static hiss of those bands, 'dead air'. There are small clips of various stations along the way but i was looking for that 'tuning in' sound that was so familiar when radio was the central part of every teenager's life.

This emulates the ambient noise of a planet sized computer and its associated gargantuan processes. I aimed for a "what if" scenario. What if v'ger could speak to other similar artificial entities of enormous size and complexity. Originally recorded on zoom h2. The sound was originally a styrofoam take-out container which i pressed down on and released several times. I then filtered it.

I used 2 low frequency operators (lfo) on a low pass filter (24db) on a generic pink noise sound with medium resonance settings, one of these lfo's was manipulating the other one with a random ramp, to make it sound more diverse and realistic. I put an aditional long envelope on the q (resonance) also, not to mention some chorus at a low tempo to make it kinda binaural with a stereo delay at a short time setting. . . I hope you enjoy it!.

It's time to go on an upload spree! i've made tons of new sounds when i wasn't uploading, and i think it's about time to share some of them with you people. :) this was really easy to make. I just stood outside for a little while, recorded the outside ambience, amplified it so it's audible, eqed it, and added some reverb to give it that stereo effect. Hopefully you enjoy this and find it useful. Have a good christmas. (or hanukkah. ).

I recorded people blowing up fireworks in my neighborhood last night with a zoom 6 using the stereo mics. Then i isolated individual sounds and tweaked the eq some in adobe audition, then ran those sounds back-to-back to make these "machine gun" sounds. Let me know what you think? (i might try making some more versions of these).

Microphone handling sounds for found footage and handheld recorder-style sound design, to give a realistic sense of device handling without adding a disruptive amount of noise to dialogue or environmental sound. I was looking for this on here and couldn't find it, so i made it myself. I figure other people could probably use it too, once in a while. Made by handling and adjusting my microphone, as indicated.

A dog sitting in front of a berlin supermarket, waiting for its owner. Lucky for me it misbehaves a little, i believe it thinks to hear dogs and afterwards probably reacts to its own echo. Unfortunately the owner storms out soon to discipline the cute doggie. Oh well, i got what i stayed at the supermarket entrance five minutes longer for. Recorded with zoom h2. Edited with audacity. This sound is cc0 but i highly recommend that you include a link to this page when using it, to avoid misunderstandings. Http://farm9. Staticflickr. Com/8070/8213683889_517a10ef52_o. During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. Many people died, but then one man grabbed a machine gun/knife and gunned down/chopped up the monster. ”i only used sounds from freesound. Org and edited and aranged them with reaper. This is what the result sounds like. (well in this uploaded version i removed the ripped spoken quotes from terminator because they were not from this website here :p). Used sound files:30279_thanvannispen_scream_group_women85847__mwlandi__meat_slap_385849__mwlandi__meat_slap_59429_thanvannispen_women_scream_aaa19312__martian__classic_double_swwosh_22350_studiorat_scream_boom_0127980__erdie__rubbing_metal0133447_dobroide_20070407. This is almost the same kick drum i´ve uploaded previously, but this has more compression and overtones in the sub bass, along with an interesting technique i´ve been doing, lemme explain. . . I put the original sample twice in my daw (fl studio if you ask),leave the first sound like it is and the second sample is being equalized in a way that only the sub bass is being showed, so i added to that the saturation plugin ivgi2 from klangheim industries and slammed it with the plugin ott by xfer records about 9 times. Equalized the sound again to cut the sub bass and leave the raw high end sound you hear, finally added an izotope ozone imager to make it wider.

A melody i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. I played this melody on a synth in garageband and added some more sounds and chords with reverb and delay to make it more fantasy-like. I kept it short and simple with no drums, guitars and stuff. Would fit anything mysterious or spooky i think. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). A music part i did in garageband for something called victors crypt. I borrowed a crazy laughter here on freesound to begin the tune with. After that i made a beat and some guitars over it. I kept adding sounds to get a spooky cool vibe. Could be useful for intros/outros, pods or whatever. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. Throw horns, dance & hail satan!. //v. Natas.

This is my attempt to emulate the sound of the harmony 64 chimes that can be heard on some ice cream trucks. I used a single note from a low-quality recording from a demo of the chimes for the base synth then cleaned up the audio using audacity and set the starting pitch to "c". (in particular, i used the first note of the "can-can" chime from http://www. Microminiatures. Com/tunes. Html). I then composed a short variation of a well-known song (bicycle built for two in this case). This loop can be used in games or other projects as long as you put a link to this sound's page in the game description. I hope you enjoy and any feedback is welcome!.

A computer-generated voice build specifically for a video game called artemis spaceship bridge simulator. I wrote the text, put it through a royalty-free text to voice generator. Then i edited it in pro tools with several fx to achieve the proper mood. I specifically use it with artemis bridge tools, which lets this track be triggered by game events. I am not affiliated with this video game in any way. Just a passionate sound designer with a gaming habit. For this track, the computer says "docking complete. ".

Warning, headphone users, heheh. . I tried making a sound relating to what hell would sound like. It's probably nothing like hell but i just mushed in some annoyingly loud sounds. Also, originally, they weren't extremely loud but i used:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/gabrielaupf/sounds/220301/http://www. Freesound. Org/people/rutgermuller/sounds/104029/ andhttp://www. Freesound. Org/people/nick121087/sounds/333832/. If it's not accurate, at all, remember that i'm a terrible fl studio user and i know very little features of it and i'm too lazy to learn all of them haha. Sounds like this probably need to be more longer.

A sound i made that would be used for buffing spell in a game such as 'iron flesh' in skyrim. There are multiple layers of sword sounds i have recorded as well as some kick samples, reverse effects and some leather flapping. Please credit if you use this it took quite a while for me to get this. Nm.

In the "word association game" (on this forum) i wrote mangle, as word no 2795. I zoomed in to my post. Made a screen dump. Cropped out “2795 – mangle”. Saved as a monochrome bitmap. Opened in audacity as raw data. Applied paulstretch. Got this swoosh-sound. Let me know if you use it :-).

Sound created by me on audacity. It was recorded using my blue yeti microphone. All i did was take my wireless mouse and put it as close to my mic as possible. You don't have to do this, but i would like for you to tell me what its being used for if it is not too much trouble.

I got bored and decided to do a little experiment by sampling my old harmonica. They're not that great but i hope someone finds use out of them. They were recorded with my computer mic. Not a whole lot of processing was done other than normalization and noise removal. Do what ever you want with them.
