Stereo recording of the interior of an ice cream parlor in the historic center of dubrovnik / croatia. It is early afternoon in high summer. The sales crew are a merry lot, bantering loudly with the tourists of different nations that are absolutely cramming the place. Lots of multinational voices can be heard, men, women and children talking loudly and all at once. Under that is the intense hum of a cooling system working itself to death!the ice cream was good too. I can recommend the peanut flavor. Recorded with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.

As i heared our doog eating the crunchy vegetables, i quick got my zoom h4n to record it. The maybe some noise of a fly or traffic in the background, but the internal mics were very close to the food-bowl. I had some issue when i came very close as the dog tried to eat as fast as possible, so i prefered to lay the recorder on the ground and kept away with my arm so the eating could be more relaxed. But the dog gobbled anyway in a fast way. Enjoy the soundscape. Maybe use it for asmr ;-).

Tail end of a paper-airplane competition as part of #azwud (arizona world usability day) in scottsdale, az. About 100 adults and 3 kids made paper airplanes then flew them in an informal indoor competition. Sounds of the crowd reacting to the different flights as planes flew off in all directions, hitting the ceiling, the floor, the audience. Announcer in the bkgd. Children approaching the 'launchpad' then the crowd reacting to their winning throw. After the kids' throw, the sound of another competitor's plane hitting the ceiling/floor (?) and then his comment "too much thrust. " a kid saying to an adult, possibly her mom (?), "please don't succeed" as the woman approached the launchpad to throw her plane.

Description of collection :dji mavic mini 2 sounds. Recorded on a zoom h5 stock xy mic. No editing not even normalizing, just chopped up segments in audacity. I apologise some recordings may have footsteps sounds, and remote blips (maybe the latter is good and more authentic). Mic may have been places either pointing left-right, or up-down, or both pointing up. Microphone wasn't on the floor, but set on a bench. Recorded indoor. Been fairly busy lately, but, finally i'm glad to be able to get around to posting some more wonderful, enjoyable nature sounds. This is a hot-humid july ambiance recorded at midday in the shawnee national forest in illinois. The predominant bird you hear is an eastern towhee. His call literally sounds like he is thirsty and tired of the heat of summer!this woods recording has the feel of slow motion summer, but still with the exciting and subtle knowledge that, things are starting to give way to autumn, and indoor schedules and long shadows. . Recorded thursday july 21, 2022. Equipment: zoom f3 and lom usi pro microphones. Recording in deep hardwood forest containing many hickory trees, beech trees and a lot of oak trees. A magical place.

This is my first recording using my binaural mic. I took a walk to meet my wife for lunch and decided to record it. It was windy outside, and even with the standard foam wind protection, you can still hear some wind rumble. It might be fixed using some low cut filtering but i wanted to post it as is. This take started inside my recording studio and ended in a fairly large avenue with lots of traffic (cars and motorcycles). There is a pause on the recording by 01:59, when i had to change the mic cable position. Signal chain: roland cs-10em (with foam windscreen) > sony pcm-m10 (rec level: manual, at about 3,5; mic sensitivity: low; limiter: off; low cut filter: disabled).

A recording of a high school class. Students were working on a sound effects project on computers, but generally allowed to talk as they worked. This is maybe 18 students, with the mic about 10 feet away from the nearest student, mic towards one side of the room, pointed towards the middle. We also have ac on, and an av cart that has a fan on, plus a wall clock, some of which you may not be able to hear over the students. Mic was the zoom h1 set to record a wav file, record level manual, low pass filter engaged, with the quality settings at the highest values. It was then put through audacity to amplify it to the highest allowable levels without distorting, and spit out as a wav.

I was super inspired to post here again after an insane coincidence happened!. I was in an online class (thanks, covid) where we were supposed to redo all the sounds and music for an animation we chose. We were encouraged to use sound libraries and freesound. Org. In one classmate's animation, a sound he used seemed very familiar, and then it hit me. . It's my sound! from this site! the crazy part is he has my same first name. But anyway, thank you for taking a look and listen to this sound which is about 2 years old now, heh. I went to this exhibit about electronic and/or audio stuff. In the show they were doing on stage, they brought various tesla coils and things i forgot the name of. I decided to take a video. The only processing i did was cutting out any talking during the raw recording.
