I recorded this in 2015 as background ambience for an audio drama. I was going into the woods at nighttime to have some insects singing for me.

There was an interesting ringing sound i couldn't pin down the location of which led me to make this recording. Ft. Frogs & insects, recorded with a tascam dr-05x.

This is a night field-recording of the frogs and insects in a pond on the grounds of the grove studio, somersby, nsw. The recording was made on a tascam dr-44wl @ 24bit 48khz and then the distance freeway and other noise was attempted to be removed using rx spectral de-noise. The files have then been normalised.
