Very quiet platform and very quiet trainincludes platform announcement, train arrival, door beeps and open, train announcement, train departure, 5 minutes of train journey (no voices), arrival at finsbury park, doors open. Prelude to the mass. First the organ plays alone, while some people are still taking their seats in the pews. Then the parishioners start to sing (a bit reluctantly) with the organ play. The song has been shortened by me from 4 strophes to 1. Many thanks to minister and organist of this mass for the permission to record.

The "annoying" speed chime, turned world famous drift hero by initial d; as it was intended to be heard by the toyota motor corporation. A common issue with these chimes is that the second impact is muted by the impact rod, this was mitigated in this file by holding the chime with a specific side up. This is marked by the second bell properly ringing out after the second impact. This rendition is a pre-timed, loopable, clean version of the chime, recorded from a real imported 86640-12070 "king kong" (kin-kon) chime. Sound created by attaching a power supply set to 12v ~0. 35a in an amateur studio. Like many of my files, these are completely free to use without even giving credit! :) my only request is you tell me where you use them!. These are also called 「速度警告チャイム」(sokudokeikoku chaimu) meaning "speed warning chime" and colloquially 「キンコンチャイム」 (kinkon chaimu) literally derived from the "kin-kon" sound it makes. Dream　on‼.

A 1906 recording of American composer Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag (1899) played by the United States Marine Band. This is one of the earliest known recordings of this work by Joplin (according to a discography of 78rpm recordings of Joplin works compiled by David A Jasen in "Scott Joplin - Collected Piano Works" 1981). Converted from MP3 to Ogg Vorbis with a slight trim of the beginning and end by Major Bloodnok. The discography of Joplin's work on 78 rpm records compiled by David A Jasen in "Complete works of Scott Joplin" indicates this is the third known recording of the Maple Leaf Rag. Edward A Berlin's book "King of Ragtime" in a note on p310 indicates that the recording of 1902 listed by Jasen is not infact the work by Joplin, making the 1906 recording the second existing record. Edwards's web-page and this page demonstrate that there are no known existing copies of the 1903 cylinder recording by Wilbur Sweatman and His Band.
