It's an all synthetized sound created on audacity. I wanted to recreat the sound of an ovni, but not one that makes people scared : like there is only one alien in this ovni but it seems pretty nice. I started by created a new audiotrack, then i generated chirps and keeping the default values. Then i duplicated the track and made a stereo track of both. I add wahwah effect on the track, changing and modulate the different default values (for example, highest dept and a lot of resonance). After, i add phaser affect on the whole track to make the sound a little bit more spacial. Then i normalized the track. Last, i raised the speed twice by 2. Then i saved and export my sound. ______________________________________________. D'après moi c'est un son répété formant un groupe tonique, au timbre harmonique acide,au grain lisse et dynamique.

One of my favorite summer and late-summer sounds. The night-hawk is the star of this recording. This recording was made around 9pm at night in mid-august and, even though i never could see this nighthawk, his calls pierced through the night-sky to let me know he was up there, somewhere, orbiting on the prowl for mosquitos and other insects. I have always loved this sound ever since i was a kid and going to sleep at night i felt comforted knowing that, like some circling fighter jet, the nighthawks would be on the job, plowing down the population of mosquitos, while i slept all night. Recording actually made in the parking lot of a major midwest university around 9pm at night on august 19th, 2014. Equipment: marantz pmd661 modified by oade brothers electronics, beyerdynamic me58 microphone. My record volume was 7.

This one was also made in sylenth1, its a pretty dirty gritty sounding patch i made. Has a bit of the 'decimate' bitcrusher (sylenths', and i also added a bass amp in logic to fatten the sound up, its played in g. I always name my loops with the first letter on its key hence the name ghost chord=) , and is a loop made at 128bpm. Feel free to use it in any of your works + more importantly let me know why you like it?i take quite some time into adding details in my sounds. I find making a loop can be very good for tuning your ears & production techniques, because like an artist if your painting something small u add a lot more detail. No need to credit me but its always nice(the more u do this the more u get i say=)enjoy. Dw.

Rec by eric strausser_fireworks near launchpad_tascam da-p1_neumann rsm 191. This recording was made in the parking lot of a church. On the other side of a line of trees was the launch pad for the towns fire work show. The mic is angled at the sky. Along with the big round booms and flat smacky booms you can also make out the swish as rockets swirl through the air. In between booms, whistles and fizzles you you can also hear the sound of the debris from the cardboard shells falling around me. Sometimes they were on fire, though you can't hear that quality in the audio. It's good for fireworks and is pretty easy to eq for more of a distant quality. I find it's more fun using it to sweeten weapons. The full recording is 29 minutes.

It's coming closer (run!) is made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I started off with the drumbeat i made and things grew from there. Found this spooky eerie sound with a lot of reverb and also a screwed up clock-sound. I wrapped things up with a line in a retro bass-sound. Could be perfect for an intro, outro, something spooky and cool, mysterious or whatever you feel like. . . . Let the imagination run wild. Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel! if you wanna use it in your music and gonna release it, ask me first. Made this moody dance-friendly tune in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's sort of happy, a bit up-tempo and dance-friendly but has this eerie anxious undertone. That's why i named it "dancing in dispair". Did a bassline along with a beat to start it off. Then i added some minor chords and synths with a lot of room to create a spookiness in it. I tried to vary it by making it change instrumental-wise during the tune. Think it would work great to a game, youtube-channel, episode, movie or whatever you feel like. Feel free to use it as you like as long as you subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. Com/channel/uca8o46_wrqzehsdzuwfq3rq. A conversation that happened in the kitchen. Warm for the time of year, a man steps in to play basketball on a corner paved lot. Just one basket and no refs, the two free-throws he is offered are almost unheard-of. Maybe some of them didn't like his looks. Likely too they know what he does for a living. Likeliest of all he was playing well, but for sure the woody that won't quit had come to call, and they probably liked that least of all. So he steps up to the foul line and the first shot zips the net. So does the second one, but even before it gets there, someone jumps in behind him, grabs hard and and zips his pants all the way down. They aren't around his ankles, though. Close one, he's standing on them. Worse, a local crowd has gathered. Only the stunned aren't laughing or pointing or cheering. You put your pants back on and go home, what else can you do? game over.

It's a recording of three emtec cd-rs being broken with bare hands. I had 3 audio cd-r that were burned useless. I decided to record their last sounds. You can hear the cds cracking and breaking, me bending them and trying to break them - they were pretty elastic - i had to learn how to crack them. So at first i had some trouble. Around 0:45 you can hear as i'm bending two cds together they squeak and crackle but don't break. The sound is not edited (hence the tag "raw") - no processing was done - i just truncated the beginning and the end leaving you everything you might need. Recorded with a zoom h2 placed on my bed. I was breaking the cds above it. There was a lot of splinters around, you can hear me fiddle with them from around 2:10 on. Originally wav 96khz/24-bit. Truncated and converted to flac with audacity.

I just love this deep rich harmonic sound with some phase modulation! i've tried to capture it the last month and half and finally managed it. There's quite a lot of air traffic (planes and helicopters) here in prague - písnice, but most of the helicopters have poor sound. It is bell 407 helicopter ok-alb in black/beige color operated by blue sky service (http://www. Ok-alb. Com/). Flight mode-s code a37a9ea. First it approaches with the deep harmonic sound, then it flies by overhead with a more noisy mid-spectrum sound. Recorded on zoom h4nsp, this time with 4gb sd card which has far lower startup time than 32 gb one (like 12 secs compared to more than a minute). Besides the helicopter itself there are some birds singing, insects buzzing and some rumble from the wind (i didn't manage attach the deadcat windshield so quickly). Basic frequency: ~ 33. 87 hz. Original filename: 160703-000. Wav.

Our neighbors fought a lot. Usually at around 2am and it would go on for about an hour or two. Besides being angry and annoyed, my girlfriend and i were always curious as to what they could possibly be fighting about. I had the idea to record them via a long mic cable stretching down the hallway, strategically hidden behind a few pieces of wood, to their apartment door. My plan was to one day play this from my stereo at a loud volume around 2am. As i later thought this through i realized that this would only disturb my other quiet neighbors and was a fairly selfish act. Anyway, i used a $100 audio-technica stereo mic and recorded it directly into my computer as an. Aiff. They seem to be arguing about a stereo and someone not loving the other. It's rather sad. We no longer live in that building so i have no idea what became of them. I hope they are happier now. Enjoy.

Here it is! my first ever submission on freesound! i decided to start this all out with a bang, and post something really cool that i'm proud of making. I'm not sure exactly what this creature was supposed to be. I'll leave that up to your imaginations. How it was made:. Software: fl studio 20. Plugin(s): serum, valhallaroom, ott, fruity parametric eq 2, and fruity delay 2. This was made completely with synthesizers. I used serum for the main synth, made copies of it, and modified each of them to sound unique from the other. I'd try to explain how the synth was made, but there's a lot of stuff. To process it, i used ott to make it sound more powerful and clear, eq to get the frequencies and texture right, delay with a low pass filter to get that outdoors echo feel, and valhalla room for the reverb. I had fun making these. Enjoy!.

A nice wet-themed ambiance of early spring in a small midwestern town in the us. The spring peepers dominate, always in the background. The american toads trill off and on (:38----1:04, 2:09-----2:31, 5:50----6:07, 6:25----6:40)there is also a distant dog bark, with echo at 3:31. Distant car horn at 3:57. Since this was recorded on a busy weeknight at 7pm, a lot of distant car doors and people picking up and dropping off kiddos for basketball practice, choir practice and other ancient extracurricular activities. There is a particularly good door open and slam and muted conversations at 6:43 to 6:56 and again at 7:17stereo recording made on thursday night march 29th, 2018 using a sound devices 702 and an audiotechnica bp4025 stereo microphone. The original was recorded at the very high sample rate of 196hz. Enjoy a town winding down and internalizing on a cold, drippy wet night in either very late winter, or very early spring.

So these are all real reactions to certain things i do, i. E, video games, narrations, etc. I myself need genuinely real vocal reactions. I often look for voice clips here on freesound, and there's just some stuff that isn't here. I know i'm not the only one, either, so i post mine as well so others may use them. Interestingly, i've gotten one person who took the time to uh. . . Tell me how they. . . Disapproved of my voice clips, so i just wanted to say that if you wanna use them, do, if not, don't, that's why they are there. I enjoy animating, and others do too, wanting to use others' voice clips. I also had a couple people make techno remixes of a lot of my sounds (thank you by the way, they're awesome). It's not that i care about the. . . Interesting way the one person expressed their opinion, it's just to let some similar acting people know that i post these for a reason. *shrug* but whatever floats your zeppelin, i honestly don't care. Anyway, for those who do use them, thank you. :p.

Things may be closed but tennis courts still work, and she was dressed for it. The hallway we walked through after, was empty. A lot of them are lately, we used this one. "after" was that once she finished, the visible front door gave her pause. I wasn't done, so we continued with her chest on a desk in the first open room we came to. More daylight in there, too. From the hallway we wouldn't have been seen. I decided not to tell her about the mixed-gender group of five that gathered at the window for a while, nearly two meters away to intently watch us making more of these sweet penis-in-vagina sounds, gathered by my phone, edited in audacity. Her ass was up high and her sunlit, flexing pink point of penetration very visible to our audience, and it didn't take me much longer. Sadly. Tried to make it last. I was wearing my lowered shorts and a bit of a smile. If she'd had a mask on, it would have been the only thing.

Recorded with tascam dr-07mkii. While on holiday staying in a country cottage near some cow fields, there was a mother cow and what must have been her 2 calves which had been put into separate fields either side of a road. This was obviously pretty distressing for the cows and so they were constantly mooing at each other and being the kind of guy i am, of course i recorded it!. I have done as much as i can to reduce wind and other background noises (the windshield i have for my dr-07 doesn't seem to do a lot except make it look like it's got a 70s afro) and have trimmed all the cow sounds out and put them together into this one file. Some are better than others, it was hard to know which cow was gonna make a noise next. Free to use for anything, if you use it, would be cool if you let us know where in the comments, be interesting to see where they end up :).

As with my other sounds, i prefer quality over quantity. Here is another sound file that i developed over a couple of days. Similar to ss's pulse cannons, this one features a military battle featuring tanks, helicopters, jets, and strafing runs using high caliber chainguns. A lot of explosions and rocket fire is heard as well, and the audio is a bit loud. Sounds edited in audacity, some sounds recorded irl using my dslr camera system, the mixing was done using filmora9. The freesound files used is listed in the sound sources, rest is what i used online and irl. I did this out of boredom while playing shooter games, since i'm working with 3d modeling i'm getting back into making my own sounds for my games. This one is free to use with credit, and with the right editing software you can change the volume if needed. Feel free to let me know if anything needs changing, or if you want a audio commission!. <3. [the quality in freesound's website player doesn't fully show the amount of audio details. It'll clear up and have much more depth when downloaded. ].

To get the sound i just sit on it, put my phone on a tripod using the apk easy voice recorder pro by digipom, and then started moving with my feet trying for 30 minutes to get interesting sounds out of it, sometimes falling to get one continuous sound, but i never did that so my experience and technique is lacking also i dind't edit in audacity i just recorded send to email and uploaded here. The thing is that i got as a gift from a family friend and me and my dad soldered that thing probably 6 times to fix the sounds, pieces falling off, me geting in the ground after the entire base broked!( i wished i could show the picture in the center down of it) so before i went ahead to fix it again, i decided after talking to friends if i should record and upload, so here it is!. I hope is useful somehow to someone, now i can feel more at ease in repairing this chair again.

Sound exercise where we had to choose a location & an object in that specific location. I chose for the sculpture atelier in the academy of bellas artes. Sound source : a non-standard tuned höfner guitar & a lithium-ion battery powered 6 watt speakerwith a cute little aaa battery powered vox pre-amp. Put on a copper plate, live manipulated & processed / bent / tapped on / glided withwhat not /. . . A long metal tube. Natural feedback has been 1 of my favorite modi operandiinfluenced by entre autres my bloody valentine, sonic youthglenn branca & a lot of noise artists. . . Recording source : a f*+#!ng apple iphone ( for which itlasted 30 minutes to put it on an apple imac ?!!?? )i take a shot @ apple for a reason , my mbp during coronahas been seen imploding ! ( dikke poef !!! ) june 2020don’t buy apple, ask louis rossmann ( youtube ). This piece has been recorded in one big long take;until now whatsoever no edits have been madelet’s see if i can make this post-production wisemore ear-candy wise even better. . . The artist known as -̶j̶o̶z̶e̶f̶a̶l̶e̶k̶s̶a̶n̶d̶e̶r̶p̶e̶dr̶o̶-has been seen predicting on his bandcamphe “ll be integrating somehow thisfree improvisational piece into his avant-latest new track called‘ mars in-3 “. . . I was just going through my sounds, when i decided "hey. . . I'm gonna release this. " so here you all go! i'm really proud of how this turned out. This, as you can tell, is a deep eerie ambience loop. It can be used for anything you want. I like to leave things up to the imagination of the audience. How it was made:. Software used:-fl studio 20-harmor-harmless-fruity parametric eq 2-valhallaroom. So basically what i did was get a low pitch sawtooth waveform, put it through some effects like harmonization, a low pass filter with high resonance, a phaser, and a load of distortion. The main synth is made with harmor. (yes, this is all one synth. It just has a lot of dynamics. ) i then processed it with some eqing. What made this sound what it is would be the reverb. I put 2 layers of valhallaroom on the synth. One has a very short decay time, and gives it texture. The other gives it the atmosphere. To add some more depth, for the final touch, i layered a sub-bass underneath it. Which is just a low sine-wave with reverb on it, which i used harmless to make. I hope you enjoy this!.

A recording of a manual typewriter. The author is inserting paper, typing a paragraph, and then removing the paper. Sound of paper being inserted into the typewriter using the paper platen winder. Then the sound of typing of about 50 words. A small bell sound is heard at the end of each line, then the sound of the platen being pushed back to start the next line, and the platen moving the paper up one line. The sample ends with the sound of the paper being wound through the typewriter and removed. I have tried to avoid clipping of each typed letter. There is a lot of percussive multi pitch sound in each typed letter. There is a mechanical escapement that provides a clicking sound as the platen is moved back for the next line. This sample was recorded direct to the hard drive of this samsung nc10 netbook using audacity set to 44. 1khz and 16 bit in mono. A dynamic microphone was used on a small desk stand about 1 foot (30cm) from the typewriter, the stand being on a different table to the one on which the typewriter was used. The microphone was a fairly cheap make (hitachi hmp606) and was pre-amplified using a maycom mictube preamplifier built into the xlr connector, connected to the mic in port of the samsung nc10 netbook. The mic boost was reduced to zero, and the gain of the maycom preamp was at its lowest setting.

So these are all real reactions to certain things i do, i. E, video games, narrations, etc. Funny story. . . The reason this one is from far away is because while recording a narration, a lovely spider decided to descend from the ceiling, and i flipped out, having decently bad arachnophobia. It also got near my hamster's cage, so naturally i bellowed "die!" when killing it. I'm uh. . . Very passionate about certain things. :p.

Noise created by individual oscillators, using audio paint, with different height images, to demonstrate what happens with too few oscillators vs. Plenty. In the end, the result is not random enough to be noise. The first 2-second burst is pure white noise for comparison. Then we have multiple 1-second bursts from audio-paint in a sequence of different image sizes: 50,100,150,200,250,350, 500, 700, 1000, 1350, 1750, 2200, 2700, 3250, 3850, 4500, and 9999 (this corresponds to the number of oscillators). The last burst is longer, and there is 1/2 second gap of silence after the first (reference) burst and before that last (9999) burst. The images other dimension was 20. The spacing of frequencies was exponential, between 40 hz and 18 khz. This is not intended to be useful, just an illustration during a discussion in a forum (http://www. Freesound. Org/forum/sample-requests/35199/?page=2#post75605). As mentioned there, i realized only afterward that exponential spacing would be giving me an approximation to pink noise instead of white noise, so the reference burst at the start is not really a fair comparison. Ideally, i would go back and re-do all this using linear spacing, but that's a lot of trouble. :-) i did, however, change to linear to get a white approximation, but that's a different sound i'll upload separately (c. F. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/zimbot/sounds/242053/). I don't believe you can get true white noise without at least something being random in your synthesis method.

While working on another audiobook, i decided to make this sound. It's 38 voices, each saying different things, panned around and mixed together, creating a "wall of sound" that speaks like 38 radio channels at once. Recorded with a zoom h2 via usb into ardour2. Mixed and exported to flac with ardour2. Ps: it's all polish (with some possible german shout-outs), but the amount of noise makes it almost completely incomprehensible. Only a few words that are being yelled in a different voice can be understood. No sound repeats here, no recycling - every voice and every second of this recording is unique. Yes, it required quite a lot of work to record so much talking in quality! it's almost an entire audiobook squeezed into 5 minutes. Strangely (or not) listening to this makes my mind rest, because the noise blocks all other sounds from the environment - making my mind free of stimulation, allowing for sleep-like rest state. The signal is so much modulated that it appears to be not modulated at all - like static you get from a fm radio of you tune it wrong. The brain receives less data when you listen to this, than when you sit in a room hearing even faint (but distinct) noises from outside, other rooms, other people or yourself. This is sound masking in action. A very interesting psychoacoustic property of human hearing. Also: this is an interesting material to study of my voice's spectral energy distribution while speaking (as opposed to singing). As you can see using the spectrogram view, most energy is present in the band below 600 hz.

I recorded the last part of my travel to work, the first day after my vacation. Inside the train my recording equipment (soundman digital recorder dr2) generates a lot of digital noise – more than usual. Interesting. Therefore i upload from when the commuter train stops at gothenburg central station and the doors open and i walk away from the station. The digital noise is there all the time but just less audible. In the beginning of the sound file you hear the noise clearly. Don’t buy this little recorder… (it has a sigmatel recording chip. ). In the frequency analysis, and spectral view, i notice peaks at about 800 - 950hz, 7850 - 8350hz and 16100-16450hz. I guess this is part of the digital noise. Tried to eq this away with spectral edit. This did not improve the sound. The noise has a wider spectrum. Tried to download the “latest” firmware at www. Soundman. De. Had to open command prompt and use unzip to extract the files. What?! but the firmware downloader does not detect the “device”. I doubt there is a new firmware anyway. The year for this recording, according to the recorder, is 2002…. The recording starts about 07:50 monday, august 07, 2017. I took 2 seconds from the beginning of this file and used paulstretch. Resulting in a 20second digital noise drone, “dr2 digital noise”,https://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/399075/had a thought that i could use a file like this to cancel out these frequencies from the other file with an inverted digital noise file… but i cant invert frequencies – off course :-d.

It's a 15-minute long drum improvisation. It contails a lot of different beats and rhythms played so you might cut-out some loops for your needs. The kit has:- single kick- snare- hihat- 3 toms- broken crash that sounds really short- ride. The kit was old and not in perfect condition. I also used my sticks to play on some other part of the drumkit, like metal stand for the crash etc. I also got up and stated running around in a circle hitting sticks together and afterwards hitting drums and cymbals while running around the drumkit. I took my shoes off before i started so you can't hear my footsteps. I didn't use a metronome and i know i don't hold the tempo and it's a bit wiggly sometimes. I think this performace was inspired by band mr. Bungle. I recorded this with zoom h2 handy recorder's front stereo xy mics. It was standing on a table about one meter above the floor. Facing the drumkit and me. It was captured into a 48khz/24-bit wav file, then i trimmed the ends and converted this to flac using audacity. No processing applied, though i think it sounds nicer when you put these effects:. 1. A compressor:-attack: 10ms-release: 50ms-ratio: 2. 5:1-treshold: around -24db2. A reverb:-decay: 1. 5 to 2 seconds-dry: 0db-wet: around -15 db. It amazes me how much energy compression actually adds to drums!. I made this with my podcast (http://unfamusic. Com/fnr/) in mind. I want to overdub guitars, vocals and make it one big schizophrenic song. If you're interested to hear it, leave me a comment so i can find you, or just subscribe to my podcast's rss (http://feeds. Feedburner. Com/unfa-fnr/).

My first upload! this sound i made using the zmors synth on my ipad air2 - i used audiobus which is a great routing software allowing many of a lot of awesome sounding synths that are now on ipad and can be played professionally via a usb keyboard controller (very handy for gigging) okay this is getting too wordy. . . I used audiobus overall with zmors in the first slot being routed through the wonderful aufx eq app in the center (effects) slot then ran the most useful of all ---> audioshare app in the 3rd or output slot to record it all. . . Keep in mind that the number of devices you can run in these three slots is virtually limitless - as much as your device can handle so you can get really nuts with several synths, a drum machine, etc all routing to the middle (fx) stop in the chain and picking up a fat 3 or 4 nice sounding effects devices then on to output to audioshare or you can now use just audioshare as host and run zmors in it directly (and probably more smoothly). I chose zmors because on a couple of other ipads (ipad mini, ipad 2 especially, and ipad air a little bit) i was noticing that it was a resource hog and was not playing correctly or there was a huge lag in the latency so with the new(er) ipad air 2 i wanted to hear the zmors synth and it really is an underappreciated majestic sounding beast if you ask me. I am going to experiment further with it as the unique architecture and just the way it sounds is totally different from any other synth i've yet to hear on ipad or in general. It kind of reminds me of a fatter, more modern. Sequential circuits 6 track. Which i've had a couple of and have a thick layered sound - kind of like a really nice turkey sandwich with a good portion of swiss cheese then you notice that there's still some roast beef left and put a good amount of that between bread as well. Hell, that's a sandwich that's gonna be filling! thanks for reading.

Calm ambient track. Winter woods / pinewood february 12. 41 pm (noon) in the netherlands near village giersbergen. Bram’s admin request-text and my answer in audio. Hello freesounders,it happens very infrequently that i post requests. However, i have an extraordinary sad reason to do so today. I don't want to go into detail in this public forum, but someone incredibly important and incredibly young in my life and my wife's just passed away. I am thus looking for an extra long recording of a peaceful "forrest ambience" to play during the good-bye ceremony. Something with some birds and perhaps some wind through the leaves,. . . . Currently the ceremony is planned for april 6th so i would need this before then. I know i can look through freesound, but i would like something specifically recorded with this in mind, something we will be able to listen to later as well, remembering this important and sad time in our life. . . Yours in grief,- bram & familywhat you hear;general-noise; soft wind in woods, sometime a bit increasing. A far kid at the edge of hamlet giersbergen. Far hum of the woods. More recordings here search: giersbergen. About the area, national park loonse en drunense duinen. (text by irma de potter, ranger of this area) dutch website: https://www. Natuurmonumenten. Nl/natuurgebieden/nationaal-park-loonse-en-drunense-duinen. In the loonse en drunense duinen you will find forest, heathland and especially a lot of sand. It is one of the largest shifting sand areas in western europe. The wind can blow undisturbed in many places, resulting in an ever-changing landscape. By purchasing it in 1921, it has been protected for 100 years and we can still enjoy this brabant sahara today. You can roam freely on the sand plain. So there is plenty of room to explore extensively. Marvel at the submerged trees, enjoy the chirping field crickets and quench your thirst at one of the many cafes or restaurants on the edge of this nature reserve. Walking, cycling or on horseback: it's all possible here. With the wind in your hair and the sand in your shoes. You may even come across the sheep herd. The sheep keep the heath short and eat away saplings. This is how they keep the area open. The loonse en drunense duinen still has 270 hectares of shifting sand. That sand creates rather extreme conditions: the soil is dry and nutrient-poor. The difference in temperature between day and night can be as much as 50 degrees celsius. This ensures a unique flora and fauna. The animals and plants have adapted or feel at home in drought, aridity and temperature fluctuations. Sand sedge and various lichens, for example. And the viviparous lizard, sandpit beetles and sand bees. All species that love sand. In the last ice age, the polar winds blew sand from the north to brabant, where it remained in thick packages. For a long time this sandy plain was covered with primeval forests. Until the fourteenth century the trees were felled by people. They used the wood as fuel. The bare plain was filled with heather, where the farmers grazed their cattle. This intensive grazing and the sod cutting of the soil depleted the soil. This gave the sand free play. For a long time, the sand was a major problem for the residents. Villages and fields threatened to disappear under it. Trees were planted to stop the advancing sand. You can still see the traces of this today: find the submerged trees that only peak above the sand hills with their crowns. Date/time: february 15th tuesday 2017, start 12. 44 pm.
