Proper rainforest simulation this- a low-pass filter self-oscillating, with a lot of modulation, run through both a delay and a reverb. The result was not recorded off the mixer, but by means of a hand-held zoom h1n, giving it an ‘outdoor’ ambience.

Old mechanical door bell, not in best condition. Rattles while the switch is closed (whether it's designed to do that i don't know) and clicks rather loudly on the low bell. Not much decay.

I needed a hard impact noise and created this one. It's made with a 909 crash cymbal. I've put a few effects on it to create this sound. I hope someone can use this sound for a project some day.

So, in the process of rendering a mono version. . . I decided to tinker. There's high & low pass filtering as well as a 4 band eq applied. Seems to have significantly reduced the noise. School kids recorded in the cafeteria during their lunch hour. It was recorded using an iphone (extemporaneous, hence the low quality), converted from the m4a to ogg, but it could certainly pass as a background sound.
