In the onset, the listener stands on a windy heath, and hears the air-raid sirens in the distance. Then come the bombers (propeller planes!), supposedly lancasters or so, passing overhead toward their target. . . I did this for a tv documentary, however i kept all rights and, as usual, you may use it free of charge and attribution. Enjoy.

Long easy rain. Recorded from my front porch the evening of may 22, 2018. Almost half an hour; slice it up to use your favorite parts. Rain slows down around 3:00. Some distant thunder around 16:20. Look out for a few small ambient noises like splashes or traffic. A perfect audio bed under your sound design of a rainy scene. Or layer it to create a storm.

This is the sound my computer's fan made, recorded with my laptop. Apparently, this fan is crapping out and goes haywire after less than ten minutes. I will have to get a new one, but the sound may be useful for people who need examples of a loud, broken pc fan. Again, recorded with laptop, not best quality. This is a sound in the creative commons, and i am giving up my rights to this sound as it is a sound every pc makes, and it's intended use is to allow everyone an example of a broken pc fan.

Recorded on september 4, 2020 on an ipad. Some parts or maybe even all of it may sound like just noise to some people. It was recorded in a government fenced in square. So there are buildings on 3 sides of my location and a gated entrance at the front. It is mainly drums that are played for a dragon dance. These dances are performed at special occasions, such as a new business opening. There is a troop of about 8 people there to perform the dance. For the first half of the recording, the two dragons (four people) were preparing and they were actually performing the dance for the second half of this recording.

I have a knack for the reprehensible as some may have gathered. It comes naturally. So every once in a while my partner sings about it. Karen carpenter sang, "don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear. . . " so why did i post it? because 1. It's only fair that more should suffer than just me, and 2. I'm curious to see if anyone will download it. We're working on "blue moon" of the doo-wop variety. Part of it.

Line samples from a casio ap-45 on the default grand piano patch. Samples every c and g from c2 through to c9 with a short sustain. Velocity is pretty aggressive and it doesn't sound quite in tune to my ear. Feels like it's a little bit out. You may want to tune these yourself, if you plan to use them for anything significant. Minimal post processing on these. Just enough to get them roughly even in terms of overall volume.

This was meant to be a part of a track i was working on, but ended up getting caught up in something else. So, i decided to give this away to those of you who may have use for it. The most important effect used to make this was absynth 5's atherizer. If anyone needs any of my sounds (or sounds not yet uploaded) customized to meet their preferences, please feel free to let me know, and i'll see what i can do.

A peculiar local brand of fruit juice sold in small plastic bags with a straw will sometimes vibrate violently when sipped, producing this deep groaning sound. I've yet to discover what exactly causes this to happen. When trying to record it i experimented with straw positioning, sipping strength, holding angle of the pack, and couldn't get it to consistently rumble. This may be a marketing conspiracy to get audio people to stock up on juice to master how to perform the packaging. Recorded with sony pcm-d100, edited and denoised in izotope rx 7.

I have so many sounds, i overlook stuff. Someone may find a use for this. Someone enters my shared apartment and i don't know who it is, or to whom the heavy footsteps belong. Doesn't matter, i'm in the bathroom, all i have is a towel and there wouldn't be time to any more than get to it. I prefer to select who sees me that way. Usually. So, i run to latch the door.

This is a 5 second rendering of the famous 1000hz censoring tone used on tv, movies and broadcasts. It can be cut, looped and used to censor audio that may be sensitive in nature or otherwise not fit for broadcasting. Made the tone using an analog tone/pulse generator fed into a focusrite scarlet 2i4. The sound is very clean (no noise). As this "tone" is fairly easy to reproduce and there is no copyright on it, i'm not going to ask for attribution or anything. Just use it as you see fit whether it'd be commercial or private. I was just trying to recreate some monster sounds & came up with this. I overlayed a few sounds on top of each other, some of the sounds are mainly me sneezing but stretched. Some raw one-shots from my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer recorded and edited using ni maschine. In my ears they sound way better with a bit of compression, but i thought the unprocessed files would be more useful. Naming is super vague. Recorded back in may 2014. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know.

I'm creating a progressive loop that starts out with plenty of space between the sounds, but get progressively shorter to the point of overlapping. This is the base sound. I may work on creating a more cohesive pitch, but the dramatic pitch could possibly work for you. Key: c #minoralt key: 12abpm: 107 (does it matter?)environment: audacity for stupid simplicity. Recorded may 23rd 2022 at noon for the 70 year anniversary of the first siren test in sedgwick county, kansas. (april 22, 1952). 50-65 feet from the siren. This thunderbolt was installed in 1952 and remained until sometime between 2012 and 2015 when the siren head was replaced with a newer bolt. The original controls and blower remain, however.

Recorded with only a small digital video camera at a cafe in pushkar, india. As i sat by the lake one afternoon, two indians sat down on the ground in front of me and began playing this and singing. There is background cafe noises and the odd motorbike going by and beeps, people talking and its not great quality but, someome may like it. . . An sennheiserme66 and me67 on opposite channels, i don't remember which was which(sorry). . But i could tell no real difference during recording (samecapsule, different tube). The mics were near coincident next to canarycage, though shure fp24 and tascam hdp1. Original at 24 bit 96k, down converted to 16 bit 48k. It took allot of intimidation to get the stinking birds to sing. . I threatened violence, finally when alanis morsette played, they gave it up. Otherwise birds would have died (though that may have been an interesting recording too). .

This is an ambient recording of the late night crowd of kids at 14th street unions square nyc. It's where the market usually is during the day. There is some traffic present but it's mostly about the voices and energy of teens. You can hear the clack and roll of skate boards, voices and gritty near by footsteps. The file contains walla quality voices and up close stuff that you can understand. It is a tad left heavy so you may have to adjust if you are using it for stereo.

I made a great impersonation of the grudge when she is angry using adiomass and my own voice! i thought it was a good idea since i had figured out how to make that sound a long time ago (like 2 months or something) the scream you may hear at the end was me breathing out but because i added 250% more gain over and over again i ended up sounding like i met the "grudge". Good for horror movies and possibly a grudge 2 (although i already saw the old grudge 2 this would be a remake. ).

From frederick noad's book: 'idiots guide to playing the guitar. ' noad plays it so beautifully, i could never match him, but i just wanted to try it with the electric instead. Recorded with my squire tele and squire bass into the focusrite interface. The guitar went through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting with editing done in reaper. (shout out to kenny gioia for the tips). Bass was run through my behringer bxl 1800 bass amp and through the interface. Both instruments were triple tracked. . . On the third plant of an apartment building in a calm, suburbian district. There is only a little traffic resonating through one half opened window of the staircase. Once in a while you can here the neighbour's kids laughing or yelling. Almoste unhearable there may be an adult's voice or someone speaking on a television and some unspecific sounds coming from one of the flats. Plus one or two bird's singing can be heard from the trees nearby. It's juli 2021.

Foley audio of passing cars on a country lane. Cars passed behind the direction the camera was facing. There's a mild stabilisation noise you may hear which could detriment your audio if not removed. Other than this, the sound is eloquent enough. Oin camera mic has been used from a canon 7d with no wind filter. Recorded in burnley, lancashire.

Ambient echo sound. This sound required the combination of operator using the triangle wave and plenty of reverb. I layered this sound by using two different octaves to cover most frequency ranges that sounded best and to fill any gaps in the sound effect. This sound is inspired by scene transitions and wide shots where there may be a lack of other sounds so this frees up a space for a calm ambient sound that uses plenty of sustain and reverb. The triangle wave in the operator gave it more of a high pitched calm flowing sound. The other options for example sine wave sounds to harsh and sharp for this type of sound.

Field recording taken from the balcony of an apartment building in the waldstrasse district of the german city of leipzig on a summer evening. In the foreground, quiet noises from neighboring apartments can be heard as well as the calls of countless swallows who nest in the eves of the 19th century houses which this part of town is famed for. In the background, distant city traffic may be heard. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording, conducted with a zoom h2, mic's set to 120° dispersion.
