Standing outside of the catedrala sfânta treime, an orthodox church in sibiu/romania. Inside, mass is being held and singing and chanting can be heard over the ambient street noises, some children are laughing and chatting in a small park next to the church. Using a finger and a small blackroll tube, i recorded a few plopps with a rode nt-usb mini and the rode podcast recording software. Noise gate and compression were turned on at the time of recordings. For me, it sounds a little bit like a cork popping from a bottle, but it has a richer sound, somewhat overdoing it. . . This one prominently features the sound of water flushing through an outside kitchen drain into an alleyway. Common suburban evening birdsong can be heard clearly throughout with distant traffic noise in the background.
