My parent's house has a big metal door that clunks when you unlock it, so i recorded myself playing with it for a bit.

Elevator ascending two floors. Lots of peaking when the doors open/close, and when an extra motor sound begins. Recorded at shelby hall, the university of alabama, spring 2009.

Took some foley i had and stretched a few times using ableton's texture setting, with flux parameter turned to zero. Could be good for an experimental song, or a horror film. This sound is in open domain, use it freely without need for retribution or credit.
