This is a sound i created for the first season of get up, pierrot. I took this recording from my room in a beautiful casa on the main square in santa clara. It was warm and not windy so i could keep the windows open during the storm, and eavesdrop on this little party, which seemed to warm up as the storm did. This is an edited version of a longer clip i have also uploaded to freesound.

We do our internet at mcdonald's while having coffee and a group of kids and parents came in for a party. Also picked up some of our conversation and a little boy was pushing the 'wet floor' sign around at the beginning of the recording. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
This sound is a pitched down recording of a metal knife striking the prongs of a metal fork. I added some reverb and adjusted the eq to make it sound like distant swords striking each other. This was used to simulate the ambient sounds of cutlasses in a pirate battle. In addition to clashing swords, this track could be adjusted to mimic the sounds of a blacksmith working at his anvil or flint and steel in lighting a fire, among other sound effects.
