So i've made a skit 10 or so years ago. It was for a story i had designed called "axe troopers" 3 kids with an axe trained to be assassins. This is a recording of me taking a can of spray adhesive and shaking it so that the metal ball inside makes the iconic clink-a-tink-a-clink that most gangsta rappers are more than familiar with. I also included some bytes of me spraying it. For this, i took an old piece of cardboard and sprayed the spray adhesive on the cardboard. Simple as that. I composed a fairly long midi loop of chord progressions & let each section repeat twice. Then i layered a bunch of return tracks of the same line with arpegiated outputs played with straight, quarter note swing eight note swing, 16th note swing, & 32nd note swing all played together. The output was then compressed, heavily chorused through multiple fx devices, and stereo panned into the nonsense you hear. If you use this please comment a link, i don't need/want credit i'd just be super curious to see what you did with it!.

Erm, i rolled a hard boiled egg around in a large ceramic fruit bowl. . . For a project. I used a stereo pair of fel 'clippy' mics and recorded onto a sounddevices mixpre-6.
