Microphone: built-in directional xy stereo microphone. Sample rate: 44100 hz. Rec format: wav 16-bit. Edited in: adobe audition (adjusted gain slightly, for a good signal level). Three takes of running water in a porcelain bathroom sink. Short drain gurgles at end of each run. Recorded with a sony ecm-ds70p on a samsung sc-d353 dvcam-noise reduction and mastering with audacity.

Sound of a ceramic cup breaking after being dropped from a height of about 1 metre onto a tiled kitchen floor. Recorded with zoom h2 in 16-bit/44. 1 khz.

A composite of several ceramic tile sounds mixed to sound like a small object shattering. Sounds small and light, like a cup or mug being broken. Recorded with a h4n pro internal mics24/06/2021. Edited in audacity28/06/2021.

This is a a non directional mic recording of a shower which is running from start to finish of the clip. The shower is a rain type shower falling onto stone and grout, for a smoother sound than most jet type onto porcelain or fiberglass tub.

The porcelain teapot lid is lifted, water is poured in and the lid replaced. A cupful is poured, the liquid is stirred and the spoon returned to the saucer. A drink is taken and an appreciative 'ahhh' is heard.

Ian dury used something like this in "what a waste". . . It's the gurgling noise made when the last of the water runs down a bathroom sink plughole. Conveys almost as much meaning as a cistern flushing, but in a shorter time (smaller file size). As ever (with my stuff) no "noises off" and so ready for mixing!.

A meaty glass impact with some cracks forming afterward. Perfect sound for when the glass object breaks, or is nearly broken by some heavy metal object. Made by hitting a porcelain plate with a metal spoon, then crushing up some aluminium foil and ice chunks in my hand. The sound files were then pitch shifted and merged in audacity.

My grandma recently gifted me a music box that was given to her by her mother, but it unfortunately doesn't work right anymore. It starts and stops unnaturally and can't make a loop, it requires constantly turning the wind-up mechanism to continue playing. This is the 1st of 2 recordings of me trying to get it to play.
