In my endeavour to upload my sound design projects to share it with this amazing community i recorded two slams of a wooden gavel on a wooden table. (the gear i used for these are an ssl xlogic alpha vhd pre and two neumann km184 microphones. ).

I made a saw wave and put some flanger and paulstretch effects to it on audacity and made this synth-like saw wave inspired by the saw wave sample from the ps1 startup sound. Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. A production sound created for a film project where the character is looking into the void of a black hole - and the emptiness overwhelms. I created a basic saw tooth bass pluck using sylenth1, and used image line edison to time stretch, equalize, add reverb, and smooth out the beginning and end of the sound to give it a swelling effect. The sound is tuned to c for easy re pitching to suit different projects.
