Kenco 10 ton punch press, forming and crimping a 3/4" diameter x 1. 5" long steel cylindrical part on to a rubber hose. Recorded in mono with an edirol r44 recorder and a shure sm81 microphone.

Very complex sound which took a lot of effort to make. Used different techniques to create the punch. The drop was created by creating a body out of pillows sand ect. Layered and used effects.

I used the ben burtt technic to design this punch; mixing a whip tail sound with a the sound taken from hitting a jacket with a baseball bat. This is a hard one hit kick. 2 kick sounds have been manipulated with eq and effects, but not over processed, put together into one. So what you end up with is a clean kick that you can hear and feel. Rendered in fl studio.
