In three years, only two days where thunder was roaring very loud above my apartment. I am relieved to have been able to immortalize, with the windows open, this deluge amplified by the inner courtyard of my building. Microphones are located in my room, windows opened. Basicucho32bitsfloat_192khz.

This carolina wren was braving a very cold, gusting cold front in early january. Recording made in a small midwestern town using my zoom h4-n recorder and its own internal microphones set at a record volume of 80. **note that since there were some strong north winds, you will hear the wind/roar in the background, but this wren just seemed oblivious to it. .

Hi! this is my first upload. This is a recording on a bbb tuba of an a natural (below staff), a low b natural (also below), and an f natural (below again). Edited for ominous-ness with expstudio audioeditor and cyberlink waveeditor. Mostly an experiment in those suites. Sorry for low quality/wrong pitches!.

The sounds of the british parliament, mainly the house of commons, as they break into cheers of support, or jeers of derision, or laughter. The speakers have been clipped out so it's just the roar of the crowd. Taken from the following open-to-the-public footage:http://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=qpzhugomnjehttp://www. Youtube. This is a sound make with this sound taken on this website :. 184598__qubodup__monster-roar. I took one of the monster very deep voice sound and tweaked it to sound like some kind of raging infected because i had to do it for a game. It's kind of like the sound zombies make in movies where they are not really zombies but raging infected people. I used : pitch shift, time shift, octaver, eq, overdrive.

**please rate if you like this sound. I appreciate it so much!!**. This is an effect i created with my voice to create a demon growl in audacity using my audio technica microphone. I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. I download from this site often and want to give back by uploading my own sounds! please contact for any requests. You may use this sound for free but please credit me using either tiffany marz or voices of marz. Thank you!! enjoy :). A mid-sized waterfall flowing into a gentle stream. This is near the road by the grand prismatic spring in yellowstone. The timbre of this smaller fall is higher than the roar of the large waterfall. And you can just make out the gurgling of the stream. But, in general, this kind of thing sounds a bit like static. Sorry it's so short, there was a lot of wind and people talking. Recorded on a dslr and edited in audacity. Production-now. Com - shout-outs welcome.

This recording was done on a balmy day in early november at the shore of a small lake in southern illinois. Even though it was november, i was in a short-sleeve t-shirt, because of the warm weather that we had been having. However, there was a huge, approaching mass of cold air from canada approaching which resulted in some tremendous, steady winds, gusting up to 40 miles an hour. I literally had my zoom h4n recorder sitting in some sedge-type grasses inches from the lake, which enabled me to get the clear, crisp sound of the wind-driven wages breaking over the small rocks and sticks. Occasionally you will hear a dull roar of the wind, which i was able to decrease a bit using my graphic equalizer, although as you listen to the entire piece you will notice that i just could not eliminate all of the “wind roar”,. Still, i think this is an effective, realistic sound-record of what happens when cold air hits head on with warm air over a lake. Again, this was recorded using the zoom h4n digital audio recorder, using the built-in stereo microphones. Enjoy.

Field recording of a train ride in the western outskirts of paris. I wanted to capture what passengers actually hear when they take that train. It's a bombardier regional train with diesel engine. This is simportant because it gives this particular train a distinctive acoustical fingerprint: you can hear engine bursts (a bit like a bus hitting the gas) no electrical train does that. . . It also has a nice roaring drone. Recorded with a zoom h2n in stereo x/y mode.

My first sound recording for my new sound album. My stomach is feeling all grumbly! it continuously seems like it hungrily and sometimes angrily rumbles like a monster, because it is very empty, and i had no food for over 50 hours. And i had to wait a little while longer to eat something.

The sound of a starship's engines throttling back out of some crazy galaxy-hopping ftl drive. The roar gives the sense that it was an energetic peak at some point. Was originally bells. Recorded on zoom h2. (any chirps heard on freesound are not in the download. ).

I got inspired by the alien films and alien isolation, so i decided to design some alien xenomorph sounds. They are printed with and without the fx i designed to suit the environment of the alien isolation game (metal corridors and vent shafts). I hope you find good use for them in your game/film/whatever else you may wish!.

This is a recording of my stone fireplace burning with a zoom h4n pro. I was burning wet, north carolina lob-lolly pine so that i would end up with a nice, consistent popping sound. Great for any fireplace scene when used at various volume levels. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.

A walk from my studio on surrey canal road to surrey canal station passing a match at the millwall stadium, a group of ticketless millwall fans watching from a vantage point on the path and commenting on the upcoming general election, the roar of the crowd segueing into the ominous rumbling/squealing of the south east london combined heat and power waste incineration plant and the sound of trains passing on the rails overhead and adjacent to the path. Recording using a tascam dr-02d.

Man, this is extremely old! so old that i actually had to pitch it down, because my voice was higher back then, lmao. I literally just growled into my mic and added some paulstretch and reverb, and then pitched it down a bit. It's meant to be like a monster or demon being angered or awoken in an indoors area or something like that.
