I layered three different snare drum takes to achieve this one. All three of those takes are from a ludwig black beauty. I did a close, stereo overhead, and stereo room mic configuration. Originally recorded/used for an 80s cover song i've been working on. Sounded nice in the mix so i thought i'd throw it on here. -yellowtree.

I needed the sound of a busy pub that was noisy enough that people were shouting to each other. This was recorded in a busy cambridge pub, uk, on a cold saturday night in january.

This ambience was recorded during a film shoot in a house in a quiet part of a large city. It was about 3am so no cars. Action sounds have been edited so you get ambience only. Quiet useful i think. No need to credit. Enjoy!.

A couple of minutes from the waiting area of an automotive tire store with the obligatory television on. The vending machine man is restocking the machines. The coke or soda machine hums and, for added realism, an employee asks for a refund and explains the problem.

A broken space heater that clicks. Recorded with a zoom h5 using the onboard xyh-5 capsule to capture a stereo signal and a sennheiser k6/me66 for a mono track. Very minor post processing to balance the stereo/mono and pull the subs out of the side channels.

An afternoon exterior in urban backyard. Ambience with some road construction work close by, birds, buses and cars. Recorded in tel aviv with a zoom h5 internal xy mic.

Recorded inside a home freezer. At 35 secs the sounds of cracking open or unwrapping something frozen begin. The freezer hum is very audible throughout. My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.

I placed the recorder on the ledge of the doorway in my hall, this is me walking back and forth between two rooms. I have a reason for making this recording, these are the parts i would have deleted, so i cut them out and joined them together.
