Pretty cool to see and producing a very unique sound. Not sure if it'll be useful for anything, but it was too cool to pass up. A mid-sized waterfall flowing into a gentle stream. This is near the road by the grand prismatic spring in yellowstone. The timbre of this smaller fall is higher than the roar of the large waterfall. And you can just make out the gurgling of the stream. But, in general, this kind of thing sounds a bit like static. Sorry it's so short, there was a lot of wind and people talking. Spoiler alert - from the description, you might be led to believe that this is the sound of an old steam engine slowly chugging its way past you, under a bridge or through an old station. In fact, it is actually the sound of me scrubbing a textured shower-room floor. Nothing more, nothing less.

Edited using distortion, hard-limited compression and the sound of liquid boiling on a very high heat with an xy microphone as close as i could get it.

I needed a background sound for a play i was involved in to suggest a busy train station in the 1930's. There are various steam sounds, door clucks, whistles and a lot of reverberation sound effect applied.
