367 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Story"

Concrete foley performed with hands. Part of my ‘various hits’ pack - foley on concrete, metal pipes, and plastic surfaced objects in a 10 story stairwell. Recorded on iphone. Added fades, eq’s and compression for easy integration.

Took my zoom h4 with me on the last flight of a 5 story metal stairwell then on the backstage catwalk - first back stage, then over the audience, then to the sound booth of a theatre i was working at. Note: i did not realize my pants made so much noise as i was walking.

A 5 minute sound file made by muting the strings of one of my banjos and playing a small range of finger patterns in mixed order. Recorded direct to my computer with a few adobe auditions effects added to enhance the sound. A great fit to a short story or thought-provoking piece of work.

Recorded crowd of people leaving field day. I was hanging out of a 3rd story window using a roland r05. The crowd's moving from right to left with a bottleneck to the immediate left. The crowd builds up then clears a bit and so on.

This may sound strange. The story about marie antoinette moved me. I was trying to imagine her waiting to be taken to the guillotine. I wanted to create a better sounding womb environment, and so i created this sound in audacity by combining a recording of my breathing along with a heart beat at 60 bpm, underwater sounds to simulate the womb environment and to top it off there's the muffled sound of a female voice reading a story to her unborn child. Okay, this one has a strange story behind it. I don't remember why i was recording, but it was my voice (probably a narration,) and when i listened to it, this sound showed up at the very end. True story: bob the rooster, while defending his chooks, had quite the tussle with a large fox in 2020 and survived. So instead of getting mad at him for waking up the dead each morning, i recorded him on my handy little zoom h1n recorder. I think bob deserves some credit for being a tough old bird so regardless of whether anyone uses this sound. . . Here bob is, enshrined on freesound. Com.

A recording of morning birds and other morning sounds (cars, bicycle) made in barnet england around 6am on a fine day on the 15th june of 2022. As it was near the solstice the sun was already up. The recording was made by poking a zoom h5 portable recorder outside a third story loft window. The microphones are the stereo pair included with that unit, with a windjammer.

Hamelin is a town on the river weser in lower saxony, germany. The town is famous for the folk tale of the pied piper of hamelin, a medieval story that tells of a tragedy that befell the town in the thirteenth century. Although you don´t hear the piep piper, you can hear the river and very umromantic: traffic. Well it was just to put the place on the freesound map. Em172 microphones into pcm m10.

A soundscape conveys our interpretation of the origin of universe. It mixes scientific, vedic hinduism and creative approaches. Starting from the very beginning (big bang and “om” sound), passing through the universe expansion and focusing mostly on earth evolution, including molten rock and floods eras, as well as sounds from living creatures. We used a combinations of sounds from our custom pure data patches, vst synthesizers and a few samples from freesound. You can find the attribution below.

I got a weird story for this one! i took a machine sound from my grandpa's workshop, overloaded it with flanger so it didn't even sound like a machine anymore, got a little snippet of the sound, pitch shifted it up, and repeated it, eqed it, and added some reverb. (the machine didn't have anything do do with it btw. You can do this with any sound. ) hope you guys enjoy this sound. Feel free to use this anywhere you want. :).

I had no part in producing this sound. A girl entered a vehicle and masturbated herself to climax. The story i heard was a lark on a dare, in broad daylight on a sanitized shift knob. The really interesting part was, it wasn't a car owned by either of the girls involved, the darer or the dared, and in fact the owner would have been very upset. If he'd known. This is a short clip from an intense thunderstorm, recorded from my second story queens apartment from an open bathroom window during the early afternoon of july 15, 2015. Some traffic and airplanes can be heard in the background. This clip was recorded using an apple iphone 6 and the zoom iq6 x/y stereo microphone with a rode dead kitten windscreen at low volume, normalized later. This recording lasts until the battery on my iphone hit 5%, at which point the zoom handy recorder app automatically stopped.

So i've made a skit 10 or so years ago. It was for a story i had designed called "axe troopers" 3 kids with an axe trained to be assassins. Literally do not have anytime now to study animation have to raise my daughter. But this lovely piece has been sitting on my hard drive. . . . I was curious what it would look like if it was animated in any way. . . So here it is! please message me if you ever get a chance to animate this piece at all. . .
