Bird vocalization includes both bird calls and bird songs. In non-technical use, bird songs are the bird sounds that are melodious to the human ear. In ornithology and birding, songs (relatively complex vocalizations) are distinguished by function from calls (relatively simple vocalizations).

Jokes on you! thats not a real bird. It was in fact my mouth that made the noise. Well technically i made a weird noice into the mic, then i only kept the high pitched sounds and with a little bit of editing. So yeah, it is my mouth but not the raw sound. I'm not that good. If you could tell that it wasn't a bird from the start then you get the prize of downloading this sound :).

Well, the closest i could get, anyway. Technically, it's a banana. One sudden peel, truncated, modified and reversed in various ways until it sounded (to me) like it could vaguely represent the sound of sewing. . . . Not that sewing by hand actually makes much of a sound. Recorded for the point-and-click adventure game, "the beard in the mirror": http://store. Steampowered. I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

The bronze temple bell of the byodo-in temple in the valley of the temples cemetery just outside kaneohe, hawaii. The bell was cast in japan and had been installed in a free standing bell tower, as is customary in japan, and can be rung by anyone who passes by. It's timbre and sound reminded me very much of the bronze bell in hiroshima called the peace bell, which is in a tower directly across the river from the technical school ruins.

A quick and dirty sound effect i put together for a film school project. You could use this as a sound effect to accompany an arm or a neck being broken, or someone falling over and snapping a bone of some sort. I used this for neck breaking though. . . But you're more than welcome to use it on whatever you see fit. Technical details:. This sound was created with a twig and some tree bark, then mixed into adobe audition. Audio recorded in stereo with a zoom h1 on inbuilt mics.

Conjectural nonhuman technical generated language modulationsexomusicology inspired sonic object. "though musicology is defined as "the historical and scientific study of music," the term is typically applied only to the study of music from the european classical tradition. "ethnomusicology" is used to describe the study of nonwestern musical traditions and to the comparative study of different musical cultures. The more general term exomusicology (from the greek prefix exo, meaning 'external to' or 'outside of') is more appropriate to the study of nonhuman musical traditions, much as exobiology refers to the study of non-earth life forms, and exolinguistics to the study of alien languages"(sethares).
