First test of my new nt1-a's. Steinberg c1 usb pre amp, recorded on phonecalm ocean, rocky shore. Sounds of, sloshing water, masked plovers, and other birds, a dog, some creaking of anchored boats. I throw some rocks into the water, at the end.

Happy accident: recorded a finger snap on a asus t100's internal laptop as a test sound, applied (heavy leveller, normalization)*10 and this came out. Sounds like a fine punch/damage sound on speakers, maybe for a 8-bit game.

A test recording of a top-loading washing machine accelerating to 1000rpm on its final spin cycle. Note that it's not as high-quality as i would've liked, but i'll try again soon. Recorded with an oppo reno 8 lite 5g phone and edited with audacity. You may also hear birds chirping, which i had trouble editing out with this recording. The machine in question is a fisher & paykel quicksmart 5. 5kg (mw513) running on 240v 50hz power. This machine utilises a "direct drive" bldc motor instead of the traditional induction motor and pulley.

Test of how uoki-toki polivoks vcf handles sin-wave (ca 270hz) when the filter is self-oscillating. I bring the uoki-toki polivoks vcf to self-oscillation and tune the vcf to ca 270hz too. The vco is also tuned to 270hz. In this test i connect the same lfo to cv1 on the vcf and 1v/oct on the module i use as vco (intellijel μvcf). I let the lfo run. Cv1 on vcf pot at 100%. They are playing together. The vco is connected to the in on the vcf. Confused explanation. . . But at least not in swedish.

Went to download a hearing test audio from youtube and got this really creepy sound instead. Sounds like some angry computer being possibly tumblr screaming 'go away' before it swallows you whole. Enjoy.

The sound of wind whistling, recorded in the classroom at coldingham primary school near st abbs head. The students recreated the sound of the wind whistling, which they heard on their field trip to st abbs, by using breath sounds as a class.

The next sound is on a smooth sweeping of plastic bracelets which collide against each other, and generating a loud sound. Work in progress speech synthesis speech, all drawn in photosounder. I've drawn the basic vocalisation by drawing horizontal lines in the 100 hz range using the white spray with the harmonics modifier, and modulated that using the dark spray to create the formants. I also added a couple of fricatives with the white spray, but it's incomplete.

A short piece of melody. . . Sound is an artifact extracted from one of test records in new audacity. It sounds like a saw. . . Or something? idk. A nice & sunny recording session at the airport! positioned right at the flight path of departing planes, this served as a test recording for the tascam dr-40x. At some point during the session i decided to point the recorder straight up, instead of towards the planes themselves, creating a nice stereo "pass-by" effect.
