Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.
A spring afternoon in a suburban uk town. Near a busy road, many sounds are heard including a chiffchaff, traffic, a collared dove (and other birds), church bells, a pedestrian crossing and an idling diesel car.
This ambiance has been recorded at luzech (france) on a hill, far from a bit everything. You can hear the lot (river) making some filtered white noise.
Standing in a pedestrian underpass. People rushing by. Binaural recording with soundman okm`s and a h4n. If you want to support my work, please visit:jardinsonore(. )bandcamp(. )comthere you find a lot more.
Swiss balcony at dusk, edge of town, saturday night, sounds of fountain, people chilling, insects, alphorns and that swiss yodel shout/exclamation thing they do when they get excited :) recorded on a zoom h4.
A quiet summer night on the square of a small city. Light wind, flagpoles ringing gently. Crickets. A few cars pass, and you can distantly hear the chatter of a few pedestrians.
A recording from my backyard featuring crickets, crows and songbirds, children playing off in the distance, and faint traffic. Recorded on tascam dr-05x, normalized in audacity.
This is an old recording from the year 2001 of a thunderstorm occured on 5th may 2001, at about 2am in pécel (nieghbour town from budapest), hungary. It was recorded by a grundig cr120 and i used audacity to remove the main background noise.
A guy dressed like santa claus sits on the bumper of a fire truck and waves to people as the truck slowly drives around town. . . The truck plays a continuous pre-recorded loop of christmas songs. You can also hear a dog barking. Minidisc.
Long duration ms recording of an evening atmosphere, big dynamics, people going back home, taking their cars, walking on the pavement, train in the background coming and going.
Quiet winter ambience near train-station in banff, alberta. Distant construction and sounds of the town can be heard. Recorded on an h2n zoom recorder, m/s raw setting.
A recording made february 24th, 2019 in a residential section of a small midwestern town. . . The stiff north winds are rattling the remaining dry leaves. . . You will also hear the subtle singing of the birds that always greet you in late winter. . . Birds like house sparrows and starlings. From time to time, you'll hear the tinkly, nice sound of some wind-chimes hanging on the front porch of some house. The skittering of dried and old leaves scooting across the ground also makes an appearance. Enjoy this cold late-winter soundscape!. Recording made around 8 in the morning with the fantastic sony pcm d100, using the internal microphones.
This is the new talking traffic signal in town. When you push the button on the red light it tells you to wait. I slowed it down a bit. Recorded with my yamaha pocketrak with one track duplication. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).
Some cars and finally a street tram drive-by in munich, pacellistr. , plus some ambience and people. Recorded with zoom h4n with furry windscreen, 96khz/24bit.
Simple 2 minute theme song. Great for a cute adventure fantasy game or a low poly farming game. Donation link: https://sunsetplanet. Itch. Io/8-bit-town-theme-song.
I recorded these in the back of our place. Couldn't see them at night back in the woods but they were going to town and it was just about a full moon. I used a yamaha pocketrak and edited with sony sound forge. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :o).
Town fireworks display, including grand finale, recorded in large parking lot of a municipal park very close to where the fireworks were set off. There is quite a bit of natural reverb throughout, and some nice applause from the crowd afterwards.
Using my recently purchased zoom h4n, i recorded the birds from my window early afternoon in belfast using the standard mic's on the recorded. A bit short, but i hope you get some use out of it :).
I recorded an 18 wheeler idling at a grain elevator in rural oregon. Then it pulled away and crossed from left to right and drove away. Recorded with: fostex fr2le, at bp 4025 stereo mic.
A bit sad but beautiful string arrangement. Great background track for games etc. If you use in a real project, i'd be happy to know :)(no credit required).
Our town was testing the sewers somehow using audio tones to measure something. Maybe resonant frequency or something like that. It sounded vey musical since they were using 3 tones per octave, like a scale based on an augmented fifth chord.
This is a song designed to augment the bustle of a market, town, or village-center. It is busy, but not intrusive and could be looped. Feel free to give feedback in the comments section. Email me if you have any questions: crolleya@gmail. Com.
On a music tour mostly travelling along the volga river and stopping at various places on the way. Captured on portable cassette recorder. Was never told what place this was, just that it was the "little town' and i suspect at this point we were on the oka river. May 1992.
A recording of a typical busy, yet peaceful later afternoon sound-scape of a small midwestern town at 5:30pm on a weekday. This was recorded on tuesday may 24th, 2016 using the marantz pmd661 and two sennheiser me66 microphones. . . True stereo recording. You will hear the delightful sound of neighborhood kids playing a friendly - or sometimes not so friendly - game of wiffleball which adds to the reflective nature of this recording. The trilling bird calling towards the end of the recording is the beautiful little, rusty-capped chipping sparrow. These chipping sparrows converge on the midwest around this time and their calls can be mistaken as an insect. Enjoy this summer 2016 recording and maybe it will trigger wonderful, innocent memories of your own childhood.
