This is a recording i got sat outside a retro clothes shop on portobello road in london. Distant music combined with the market and people walking past creates a busy scene with the busy road that runs over the top of the market giving a nice base to fill out the recording. A recording made at 4:30pm on saturday september 12th 2015 near a playground in a small town. A cool front had recently passed bringing with sharper temperatures and northwest winds sifting through the still green cholorophyll-laden leaves. You hear the sound of children fairly low in the background as they enjoy the playground. True stereo recording made with maantz pmd661 and two sennheiser me-66 microphones mounted in tripods.
