Voice samples for video games i made for a tigsource game competition using audacity. They're made to be chopped up and as flexible as possible for a video game. This one is of a male hero type character. The sample includes no words, just vocalizations like grunts, eating sounds, and hit sounds.

Recorded with a portable alesis digital recorder then widened and lightly manipulated in daw. This is actual foley of a stream recorded at close range. Public domain, do with as you please. If you use i'd love to see how you used it. Works great as a nice environmental sound for film work if laid softly in the background, if it's called for that is.

Sounds from making holes in the ground to place a mortar in it, it could also be used for preparations of building a tent. What i envision most is though that a real time strategy worker is harvesting coal, iron, metal, gold or stone resources using a pickax or shovel on hard ground. It could also be a massively multiplayer role playing game with the harvesting features. Extracted from a video (http://img. Youtube. Com/vi/bibflvh5qjq/2. Jpg) by a us government agency, thus public domain. This sound is cc0/public domain but i highly recommend that you include a link to this page when using it, to avoid misunderstandings. Find many more military sounds in my military sounds pack, also located on freesound. Http://farm9. Staticflickr. Com/8070/8213683889_517a10ef52_o. Pngon flac and ogg vorbis audio file formats. One of a series of heavily processed recordings i made using a hikari monos cv. It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. ‘slayer’ refers to s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin made by twisted tools. By layering, blending, and mulching the original monos recordings, i was able to get a range of sounds the are dynamic, punchy, and unabashedly stereo. These might be useful for edgy-sounding ui elements.

It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. Using s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin from twisted tools, i focused on generating short, punchy impulses that leaned into the resonant character of the original monos recordings. These sounds might be useful for ui buttons, as well as designing modern-retro sounds for games.
