American signal t-128 and federal signal 2001 siren sounding in attack mode. These sirens are normally sounded in a steady tone for tornado warnings, but this rising and falling tone would be used for civil emergencies like an air raid or other attack on the city.

Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

I made this as a near ultrasonic sms signal. Created and edited with audacity, filtered with glame bandpass filter. If you hardly cut a pure tone, you introduce a whole lot of other frequencies to the signal at the cutting point. To avoid this after the cutting you need to filter the whole thing with a bandpass filter to ensure you have as little other frequency content as possible. It will audibly soften the start and the end of the sound. That's what i did here.

Synthetic and musique-concrete for an experimental demo soundtrack. Used mimeophon, erbe-verb, dpo and qpas to create a "who pushed the button?" soundtrack. Great fun converting the sound of a pencil on paper to one part of the track. Enjoy!.

These are fake siren noises i made in logic by using es p. The warnings are in the following order: caution (three pulses), alert (steady), attack (wailing), large fire (hi-lo), evacuate (hi-lo/alternate wail). These don't conform to any signal guidelines and must not be used for anything other than a mere sound effect.

This is the sound of a spaceship's underbelly cargo hatch closing mid-flight after receiving a cargo transfer. The sequence begins with a warning alarm indicating the hatch closing, followed by the sound of the giant servos rotating the dual bay doors up and inward until the bay is sealed shut and locked. An all clear signal is given, reverberating into the dark, silent chamber. Made in logic pro, completely synthesized with es2 and mac's built in speech synthesis for vocal alarm. Trying to start a 1983 volvo 245 after a stop at a gas station. First we hear the seatbelt warning signal after the driver turns the ignition on. The first start attempt fails. The two following attempts fail because the starter fails to engage with the flywheel, creating a very loud and unpleasant sound. There is some reverberation from the metal roof of the gas station.
