Operating my washing machine (front loader, brand: indesit). This reflect the full circle of a washing process from turning the control knob to the typical “clack” when the machine is finished and the look is once again released. All the intermediate steps like washing, spinning and so on, are shorten in time (otherwise this would be a 50min sound clip). But you can loop all those sounds very well. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. I placed the microphone against the bottom of a running dishwasher. The sound goes through a couple of stages. Mostly muffled wet sounds. Recorded with edirol r-1 & sennheiser me66.

A test recording of a top-loading washing machine accelerating to 1000rpm on its final spin cycle. Note that it's not as high-quality as i would've liked, but i'll try again soon. Recorded with an oppo reno 8 lite 5g phone and edited with audacity. You may also hear birds chirping, which i had trouble editing out with this recording. The machine in question is a fisher & paykel quicksmart 5. 5kg (mw513) running on 240v 50hz power. This machine utilises a "direct drive" bldc motor instead of the traditional induction motor and pulley.

The final stage of my washer spin cycle maybe could be used for a large machine shutting down.
