This was recorded in chicago suburb of highland park. What you are hearing is the sound of the streets during the middle of the day. This recording was taken with the person recording familiar with the area. After listening back, the person recording heard several new sounds that were unfamiliar.

Grinding a single cup of espresso by hand in a peugeot coffee grinder. It was recorded with a maono au-903 usb mic pointing at the grinder, and set to cardioid. (i'm new to sound recording so i'm taking lots of notes to try and learn what works best. ).

Putting on a latex glove. Know how when they resist going onto your hand, you pull the sleeve further on and let go? it makes a final li'l snap. That's in this file too. No telling for what evil or illicit purpose, one may put on latex gloves.

Recorded near a drainpipe, i have no idea what the bass wind sound in the background is. I think it was some sort of exhaust from the basement around, but i don't know why it turned off and on. In any case it makes for a very spooky ambient effect.

Sex noises coming close by, some more of that young sounding couple next door, you can even hear the sounds of the bed while they're going at it. You can also hear them talk after but can't hear what they're saying. This is edit with audacity.

I used my hands to make this sound effect. The action was similar to a dog shaking out, except the character was parasitical worm covered in mushrooms. . . It made for a nice little placeholder effect. Do with it, what you like. Hopefully it helps, when you need the sound of a person brushing a spider from their sweater.

The mysterious echoes of what could only be assumed to be wind produces an overwhelming feeling of loneliness and despair, and an absence of any sort of comfort. As the distant sound reverberates towards your position, only assumptions can be made about it's origin and how truly far away it is.

The sound of a thick plastic bag that screeches when it moves. It was recorded indoors with a mobile phone on february 2018 and it hasn't been processed or altered in any way by any type of software. On the green lines the voice is saying "sound of toy car on a carpet" and that's what actually follows.

Rootsy solo mandolin cue, part of a "matched set" to be used in different places in a podcast, radio show, or video. The set contains segments from a second or two up to about a minute, to be used for cues, hits, bumps, interstitials and voiceovers. The music is a roundback mandolin from 1900 improvising in the key of g. The feel is uptempo, traditional, natural, organic, old time, americana. A digital sounding humming ringing noise, or a ringing humming sound. Not really sure how to describe this what this is, but i liked the way it sounded so i uploaded it. Sound is a paulstretched cello. Used audacity's pitch lower till it made that ringing noise. Was trying to make sound for ambient tracks.

Strange sound can be heard from time to time in pécel, hungary especially when warm front appears. You can hear it in the beginning, calms than gets louder again at around 0:45 and fades out after 2:00. Sometimes become louder and calmer. I do not know what it is.

A few seconds of mistaken recording in a car. I believe it's radio commentary of a sports game of some kind, but you can't tell what the man is saying.

Maybe someone could find a use for this. I doubt it. Rising tone from 440 to 880 hz, with extra harmonics arising over that period. Random slow panning l/r. Much faster random panning (~200 hz), but shallower. Ridiculous echo and reverb. Just what i felt like doing on a sunday morning.

Field recording of a large truck being used to transport some kind of utility maintenance equipment. I couldn't begin to tell you what kind of equipment, but i can overprocess the sound it makes, so i did. Sounds a bit more industrial and imposing now.
