Put my zoom h2n inside a backpack and tried to reproduce someone looking for something in it.

Walked on the ground with a boot that has a metal zipper you can kind of hear. Recorded with my zoom h2n.

Unzip backpack, search, pull out books, then zip it up.

I don't know how or when i recorded this. I must accidentally have had my zoom on when i was packing. Oops.

Some fabric rustling and zipper being zipped up. Getting ready for my shower, fly unzipping and snap opening with the rustle of taking them off and dropping them on the bathroom floor. Iphone, external mike, audacity.

This sound results from applying the hps model to a few notes from a flute. A 'zipper' sound with tonal chirps are produced, reminiscent of long last days of amateur radio.

A short noise of a leather jacket being equipped. I recommend using this noise for a rpg game when a character is equipping a cloth/leather armor. You can use it without crediting me, just a free random sound.

Opening the zip of a bag, searching for something and closing the zip again ( a lot of things inside the bag: pill boxes, lip sticks, etc. ) there is also the sound of a hook-and-loop fastener.

The result of a blending of a couple different sounds in figure53's qlab program made to sound like a violent needle rip on a record. Beefier than the common 'zipper' sound.

Here in the midwest one sure sign that winter "has left the building" is when the neo-tropical migrants arrive in the forests to gorge themselves on the multitude of insects, and to raise a family. One of my favorite bird-songs is this "zipper" sounding call of the northern parula. Perhaps you have heard this very unique call while out in the woods. I recorded this with my zoom h4n recorder, using its internal stereo microphones. This sound was recorded around 7am on april 29th 2013.

Clean recording of various sounds that would occur when maneuvering around an office space (specifically a desk) and manipulating common office objects. Recording features lots of paper rustling and sliding across a wooden desk, handling pens and a stapler, stuffing manila folders and plastic binders, and towards the end there are some sounds of small-medium sized personal bag being unzipped and zipped and then being filled with some of the office materials. Should work great for filling in general office noises in a scene or reinforcing actions that involve any of the materials featured in the recording. There should be enough variety to allow you to glean more isolated sounds or just use assortments of layered sounds. Recorded with an akg p170 into a tascam 208i audio interface at 48khz/24-bit. Microphone was positioned roughly 1. 5 - 2 feet away from the source. There is some slight room reverb present, which is intentional, and should match common office workspaces well. An 85hz high-pass filter was applied to remove any unintentional, unnatural low-frequency rumbling that may have been picked up during recording.

The basic sound of a clothes dryer tumbling, with loud clicking from the clothes inside -- buttons and zippers against the drum, along with the deep rumbling of the motor and the thump of the tumbler. Recorded on a sony pcm-m10 recorder with a very old electret condenser microphone.
