1 cricket chirping during a warm summer evening at the outskirts of hamburg. Traffic noise from a nearby larger road is heard in the background. Recorded with a ~30cm ab-setup of neumann km183 into a zoom h6, 48khz, 24bit.

Recorded inside a home freezer. At 35 secs the sounds of cracking open or unwrapping something frozen begin. The freezer hum is very audible throughout. Recorded with sennheiser mkh815 shotgun (vintage broadcast location sound microphone) to a zoom h4n @96/24. Created by needle media/a. Fitzwater 2017.

Wooden, headless tambourine recorded using a zoom h5 and a rode nt-5 in a bathroom. Edited in ocenaudio, also some de-reverberation. No equalization applied. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).

Recorded using the built-in mics of a zoom h4npro (2016 edition) @ 24bit. This is a small amount of liquid being poured into a drain about the size of a silver dollar. The original recorded captured the apartment's heating system. I used noise reduction, then normalized the waveform. This sound is free to use whenever and wherever.

Big breaker switch for one of three phases of power coming into an industrial metal shop. I'm pretty sure it was a 50 amp breaker. . You can hear a transformer buzzing in the background and a fan start once the switch is thrown. Fairly roomy (being a large concrete garage type environment) but usable. Recorded on a zoom h4. .

A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.

It starts off with a swish, then some dribbling then another swish. This is a rubber basketball bouncing on asphalt with a metal rim, nylon net and wooden backboard.

In this series of recordings i strike many cook's safety matches, in a small plaster-boarded room. These sounds were recorded with a match pair of rode m5 small diaphragm condenser microphones, into a zoom h4n. These are the raw sound recording with not noise reduction, eq, or compression. While doing sit-ups in my bedroom - i've discovered that the friction of my back with the floor makes hilarious "fart-like" sounds, in all kinds of variations.
