I had a sound design session and at the end i rendered out the whole messy file, ran it through 3 otts, some reverb and delay and basically got an awesome spooky and unsettling atmosphere. Feel free to use it in your projects!.

I heard these owls outside my window this evening. I live next to a large field and it attracts birds of prey frequently. I managed to capture them conversing back and forth. Unfortunately, the neighbors dog had to chime in. But, even that sounds kind of neat with the natural reverb of the open space.

Genuine stomache gurgle :. In todays dialog edit it seems it was close to lunchtime when they were shooting this scene, i had to cut out this gigantic gugle as it wasnt needed,. Actually i thought it was me as i'm kinda hungry too. Bon appetite!.

Just having some fun with the 6 inches of snow that we received. The first part of this is me walking/breaking some ice that had formed in a low area and then me walking on snow, which has a frosty glaze on top of it. Recorded with the handy/zoom h-4n recorder using its built-in microphones. The built-in microphones can be adjusted to pick up sound from 90 degrees around the microphones to 180 degrees. For this recording, i had them on 180 degrees. *note, you will also -- if you listen carefully -- hear a male robin singing in a tree. Pretty unique combination - the snow and ice being crunched with the typical sound of spring in background. He must have been one tough bird!.

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. I needed the sound of snakes hissing angry on the head of a "medusa" in a helloween-radioplay - so here they are :) recorded with beringer b10, esi maya and adobe audition, done some processing (eq, light chorus) - the sound is loopable!.

So, i was messing around with audacity and made this little sound. I used a sound of me screaming (trimmed) and i messed up with the effects then kapow! it's here! xd. I really had no idea what is this but let's say it was some sort of laser though. Created with audacity.

Recorded sand on a large piece of paper being dragged across a rubberized dance floor (marley). Space had a twenty foot ceiling. Recorded with a tascam im2 stereo condenser microphone and ipod touch. This version has longer, drawn out drags.

I made this with iampagan's slimy_flesh cc0 sound as i needed something to draw attention to a centipede i had appearing in my animation and couldn't find anything else that would suit it. It's not the best sound ever (i'm a newbie), but maybe somebody else might have use for it. So 'ere ya go!.

That sound was recorded in mai 2016 inside an old watermill house in bavaria, where the old waterwheel still drives a wooden gear with cogwheels. Originally that watermill had several purposes like hammering, sawing, pressing oil from different fruits or producing paper.

Just a sound effect i made for a project, where i had to create the sound of a blade being dragged out of a body or of something similar. It was created by dragging two kitchen knives together. Recorded with my røde nt1-a microphone. The recording is in 44100 hz stereo, 32-bit, waw format.

Recorded using only an android phone and 'recording machine' app. The recording was made on the metal jetty at london greenwich a minute or so after the ferry had departed. The sound is of the metal plates of the walkway rubbing together as the jetty gently rises and falls on the swell. Eerie and atmospheric. Strangely quiet considering it was recorded in a major city.

Ancient bits of sound i had rendered a long time ago for a friend's music project i secretly collaborated on ;). These are old programmed synthesizers with heavy effects, each one slightly different. And they're perfectly loopable if you want!.

Did this in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. Had this beat in my head that i just had to do something with. After i put down the drums i added sounds with synthesizers to build it up and make it a bit mysterious. I also added a flute in the middle as a break before it continues again. This is a recording i made during a lull in a storm, i recorded in ortf configuration with a pair of akg c1000's through a mixpre-6. I pointed the mics at my neighbour's house which had an overflowing gutter/drainpipe making the water slap on to the concrete. Recorded 2017 in melbourne australia.

Edirol r-44 and audio-technica at835st. Stereo. A dog barks, but it seems to me that it sings to the music from a loud speaker that tells noon. It's hard to believe, but the dog began singing just after it had heard the sound and stopped when the sound stopped. The voice pitch also accompanied the melody.

I think this a fairly good example of the spatial image binaural recording can provide. Gear: sharp minidisc, soundman okm binaural microphones.

Boots walking through short grass. Heavy rain the previous day had created a large amount of mud which can also be heard in this recording. Should be enough space in between each step to be effectively cut up for foley work. Recorded with a ntg2 mono shotgun microphone into a r05 recorder.

I was doing some field recording and it so happen that when i was out and about we had hail storm so i recorded from the start to finish. Whew! almost got hit by a hail stone as big as a pingpong ball. Yes, it was that big my car has dent all over, not good aye!.

Recorded this from my 2nd floor balcony in lisbon, portugal. It closely overlooked a small street in which restaurants had set up outside dining. Many people were out this evening, eating, talking and laughing.

A stereo recording made at 4:50pm on saturday september 12th 2015 of the ambience of a small town near a playground. Up until this day, the weather here in the midwest had been your typical high-heat high-humidity. But, the day before this field-recording was made the wonderful jet-stream had dropped down on us, a cool, mass of less-humid canadian air, making the leaves sing through the trees with the lifting of the northwest breezes. A gentle tinkling wind-chime can be heard from 1:05 to 1:20. Recording made in stereo with marantz pmd661 and two sennheiser me66 microphones mounted on tripods about 4 feet off the ground.

I get annoyed easily when i hear someone telling me what to do. It gets me in trouble. This was a while ago. I hadn't ever been caught at that point, and he was the one recording. He actually got me started on that. Of course, i had taken off the offending articles of clothing and kicked off my sneakers, and was locked outside my own front door that way. Of course i couldn't go anywhere, and the only unlocked window had an air conditioner in it. Yes i did. Right over the top of it, might have looked pretty clumsy, at least…i know it was risky but not as bad as standing out there. Luckily it was a back window. Unluckily, it was raining. Hard. Should have let him build that fence.

A mouse eating a piece of prawn cracker from the chinese restaurant! this was the soundtrack to a 26-second film clip of a little black pet mouse having a treat. Some ambient noise, birdsong may be heard in the background - hopefully not too much. Had to grab the moment while i could!.

Warning: super loud. Okay, so i was using baking soda on my face to clear out blackheads, but i had a few scabs from my dermatillomania, and i was making a video where i mentioned it, and shouted this. It's really gritting your teeth and embracing the pain. It's so metal. Xd.
