A patch with nonlinearcircuits jerkoff ("chaos circuit based on the jerk equation and its electronic implementation by jc sprott") in the center. I had a question that needed an answer. Is jerkoff a stable lfo when not using the input to disturb the rythm?my answer is. It can be relatively stable, but sometimes it is wobbling around. The recording is from a wobbly jerkoff. One output to osc cv in and another to a vcf vc in. The third output goes to a comparator. The comparator generates a trigger every time the cv is passing the threshold level.
A very harsh section of static with periodic interference (source unknown) from the far right-hand side of the fm radio dial, at 106. 7 mhz. Recorded from a digital tuner.
Doepfer a-119. Maybe not the coolest module on the market. But i have plans for this little friend. Bought it used. "module a-119 (external input / envelope follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the" (from doepfer home page) modular synth. As delay i use joyo analog delay.
Two slowed down samples of a cell phone on vibrate (taken from previously uploaded sound "phone vibrate". Now sounds more like an engine starting up and subsiding. . . Or a really lame lawnmower.
The melody (only single tones) of "Nearer my God to you". A legend tells this song was played on board of the Titanic when the ship got down. You will hear the registers Violin, Viola and Horn, with modulation. Sorry I'm not a keyboarder! Data of instrument: Series 76 (Manufacturing year) No. 0131202 Manufactured by B. V. Eminent - Bodegraven - Holland
Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene. This is another reel made in the modular using the new intellijel plonk, which is amazing for microsound but also really jagged edges. My interest in this module was as far from anyone else's haha. This is one of the most fun to play with, especially when sending modulation into every input!.
Radio frequency interference at the 1200 khz mark of the a. M. Band, caused by varying proximity to a laptop computer. Very active and obnoxious high-pitched static and squeals.
A sound from 2006 i created and found on one of my old dvd's with this new external dvd drive i just got in from ups. Pretty nice modulation if you ask me. I forgot how i made this sound.
Ambience of flowing water or heavy rain. Created with the korg electribe 2 using various white noise sources. These are filtered, the filters itself are modulated by a random modulation. Post-processing was done in cubase.
