10am sunday in the middle of the lockdown for corona virus, covid19. Recorder left in garden then edited down to remove most of dog barking at neighbours, the few cars that passed and distant conversation that might otherwise ruin the purpose of recording just the bird song. Not the best example of bird song for which i will have to get up at dawn.

This is not the most traditional bamba i could remember, but be sure it's really a good one. Laura cambrón, a californian native, is the singer. She also composed the lyrics, this time dedicated to the great césar chávez. Recorded in san francisco, ca. April 1, 2011. I used a h2 zoom.

The loop was created with one of reaktor 5's instruments which was modified to create 4-second loops that sounds something like techno or general electronica. The drums are all created using a subtractive synthesizer, most of them sine waves and were modified several times.

Assorted chord oneshots played on a piano that i found at the university of sydney back in 2014. Recorded in 96 khz for the heck of it, using a rode nt6 condenser microphone and a zoom h4n recorder. Sorry but i do not remember the chords and i am not musical enough to figure them out for the file names, but they are most likely all played on the white keys.

I needed an alarm-sound for a small animation movie, so i recorded my annoying alarm-clock, then decided to upload it here. I post-edited it with audacity, cause i am a noob, regarding sound-processing :d i removed most of the background noise and i think this record is good enough to be used in your movies, games or songs. Have fun! :).

Clean, dry recording of a roughly half-filled metal can (the ribbed kind used for most canned food - probably steel, tin, or a blend of the two) containing dry oatmeal being shaken. A variety of forces and speeds were used to create a diverse assortment of sounds. Originally recorded specifically for canned oatmeal sounds, but could easily work for shaken cans containing most kinds of tiny, dry granules such as rice, nuts, grains, etc. A metal can was used for the unique, metallic timbre it produces - a glass jar or plastic container would sound different. Recorded with a behringer xm8500 directly into a steinberg ur22c interface at 48khz, 32-bit float. True 32-bit, not just 24-bit upconverted.

Stereo field-recording of the most exuberant birdsong and easter morning bells i've ever heard. A single woman's heeled footsteps are heard at the beginning. A couple car passes. Removed a bit of the ambient urban roar with soundsoap. Recorded with two sennheiser 416's in xy, to fostex pd-6.

This was recorded at a wedding and celebration party afterward. Several hundred people talking in a very large room. It should be random enough to be used for most any situation where one needs ambient crowd noise. This was recorded directly from the on board mic of a full hd camera that uses acvhd. What you are listening to was rendered off at 48hz and 16 bits.

Sounds of trains passing above an art atelier in brussels, belgium; the room is right below the railway, so you can hear trains making different kinds of rumbles and noises from the other side of the ceiling. It was recorded with a tascam hd-p2 recorder and a sennheiser mkh50 directional microphone. I selected only the train-passing moments, there is a metal door shaking on the background and maybe some traffic, but i think it's cool enough. (:.

My forklift recorded using my phone at work. I just cut out and muted most of the ambience using goldwave (http://www. Goldwave. Com/) to make it more just the hydraulics. If you cut out sections, scramble them and fool around with the speed in the sound, i think you can get a great variety of pneumatic and robot-sounding sounds out of it.

A mid morning field recording on 05 march 2021 in our rural garden. There is a road at the side of the garden but i have removed what i could hear of the few cars that passed by. Also removed sounds of a gate and doors opening and closing. There was a slight breeze that a wind sock didn't entirely prevent coming through as wind noise. I have cut most of this.

Tornado siren in streamwood, il recorded during the monthly test. This version is heavily edited, with some filtering and compression applied, as most of the recording was distorted (i was too close to the siren!), although it should be useable with appropriate filtering to suit your purpose. This is a suona audio segment from 《a hundred birds paying homage to the phoenix》which is one of the ten most famous pieces of chinese folk instrumental music. It depicts the sound of a hundred birds singing in harmony and celebrates the beauty of nature in a lively and cheerful tune, which gives full play to the characteristics of the suona. Its popularity is widespread, with different versions available in shandong, anhui, henan, hebei and other places. The music evokes a love of nature and a life of labor with a warm and upbeat melody.
