Process: a while ago i worked on a game and recorded several sound effects, one track after another. With the session set up the way it was, i opened all the channels and selected a section and exported it. After exporting, i threw it into paulstretch, and rendered that at the default settings. Sounds like the jaws theme song bass sound. These sounds are actually an xm with a changed file extension to. Wav, and then loaded into a wav editor which converted it to a readable format. I then removed the unbelievable noise to see what i ended up with. After that, i cut out the parts that sort of sounded cool and these are some of the ones i am willing to let everyone have.

The sound of a homemade uncoated piezo-contact mic being rubbed against a giant fan. Sounds kind of creepy and weird, and the rubber around the edge of the mic caused it to bounce and make a bouncy kind of sound. Neat! zoom h4n.

This is the sound it makes when you rub the plastic frames of a pair of thick-rimmed, black polo ralph lauren brand glasses against a green piece of foam used to cover a microphone and reduce wind.

This sound is called hee, hee hee ha. Wowww because i said that and made it all weird, its perfect if u want to use it in an alien movie.

I have an old toy called a zube tube which is a cardboard tube with a plastic cup in each end and a long spring stretched between the cups. When you shake the tube it makes the weirdest sounds! in this recording i am holding and shaking the tube vertically. You can hear the spring oscillating.

I recorded this sound back in 2002. Opening a door.

It's a variation on the original weird bug noise.

Mix of sounds: recorded right over a cardboard box full of chicks (baby chickens) bouncing around pecking to create a popcorn effect while they chirp and young children play and talk in another room.

Weird noise with a noise layer and a sine wave.

Pulse used on the pulse sequence rancidlead. It's a basic pulse with more filter resonance than usual.

The same pulse as rancidpulse(2), with less sustain.

Sonar ping like sound with a triangle wave with short decay and reverb, weird.

The same as rancidsaw(2), this time returns with less sustain and more release.

The saw wave used on rancidarp, a saw wave with high resonance.

Square wave and a low pass filter, i add some resonance because i love the filter resonance :).

Rancid and weird triangle with frecuency modulation and some filter modulation, ends abruptly, but it is part of nature of the sound, ''weird''.

High resonance square + sine wave bass with a abruptly weird end.

Very weird and extraneous synth sound, basically a square wave with distortion and a high pass filter, have some lfos that modify different parameters such as amplitude, cutoff and resonance.

This is the hi-hat of the weirdbreak, a noise wave with high filter resonance.

Played into an hp computer. Recorded with cubase. Voice samples used from freesound (120589__snaginneb__emergency_countdown), others homemade. Sampled into a roland sp-404. Played live. Slightly messed with in cubase. . . Recorded on three tracks. Location, keflavik, iceland.

Yeah, it's so screwed up you can barely tell it was from that sample. That ringing in the back is a stretched and pitched piece of the same sample. I was trying to make a dub loop, but this is what i got. Really freaky.

This would make a good big beat loop, if i had made it more bass-y. It's still pretty useable, if you bass boost or low pass filter it.
