Two slowed down samples of a cell phone on vibrate (taken from previously uploaded sound "phone vibrate". Now sounds more like an engine starting up and subsiding. . . Or a really lame lawnmower.
Here's a hummingbird recorded at 96khz, then filtered and slowed 900%, resampled to 44. 1you can hear the individual wing strokes and the chirps now sound something like the monsters from the movie "pitch black".
A small hand-crank generator being turned at a slow to moderate rate. I didn't have a light bulb attached, but if i did, i imagine it would be flickering dimly at this speed.
Woman taking six slow, deep breaths, mouth closed. Deep, calm breathing. Recorded with a rode ntg 3 and a tascam dr 100 in the closet, very faint traffic noise can be heard in the background.
Soft and slow rain. I used this sound in the production of the album next. I released the album into the public domain and it is available herehttps://archive. Org/details/vme_next.
Boiling water on a gas stove. Recorded with zoom h6 recorder and rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. Cleaned with reaper. Feel free to leave a link to the project that you used this sound in. Would love to see and hear how you used the sound. :).
Transitional sound we termed a "quick zoom" sound. Sounds like something slowing down or powering down. Created with this tool:http://www. Superflashbros. Net/as3sfxr/and this sound:http://www. Freesound. Org/people/timbre/sounds/109213/. Edit: i see a lot of people are enjoying this sound! if you'd like to donate a dollar or two towards my personal starving artist fund here is a donation link: https://www. Paypal. Me/baharv89.
Wanted to emulate the sound of a stopping / slowing down turntable for a "pause" sound effect for a video game. Feel free to reverse the sound to get the matching "continue"-counterpart =). Made in fl studio using the "fruity scratcher" effect on a simple piano note sample.
This is popcorn popping and i recorded it with my yamaha pocketrak and slowed it down in sony sound forge. It sounds like an alien language. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

A short sample of a cricket recorded in cuernavaca, morelos, méxico on summer but with time modified to go slower, so an interest different quality of sound appears. Recorded whit a zoom h1.
Recorded a guitar being plucked and slowed it down to 0. 1% speed. This creates the nice initial pluck sound. Then copied and resampled the copy and slowed down again by 0. 1% speed, this time preserving the original pitch. This created the ultra-long decay tail. Added eos reverb.
Me dropping a chain somewhat slowly on a linoleum floor. It starts loud and gets softer. It's also pretty bright, but most of that is around 14k if you want to eq it out. Recorded with two kam i2's into a zoom h4n.
Slow breathing almost close to mic. Could potentially be used in one of those scenes in a movie when someone is in shock or cant hear because of a bomb blast or crash or something.
