That sound was recorded in mai 2016 inside an old watermill house in bavaria, where the old waterwheel still drives a wooden gear with cogwheels. Originally that watermill had several purposes like hammering, sawing, pressing oil from different fruits or producing paper.

This sound is entirely made with audacity, i played with the noised and reverberation on several tracks, then i shifted the tracks to create a come and go effect. I also reduced the volume on some parts of the tracks. This sound remind me of a windy weather near the ocean.

A soundscape. While i was standing with my edirol r-09 in hand, an airliner jet took off from narita international airport by the road. Several cars and trucks passed by. Birds were singing against jet noise.

This sample is part of the icefield-library. I used a pair of soundman okm2 mics as contact microphones which i fixed to the surface of a frozen lake, then recorded the sounds made by throwing or skimming several stones and pebbles across the ice. I don't know what kind this was, but several red-headed woodpeckers appear at my feeder. I got just one series without background traffic noise. If you want to repeat it for effect, each series came 46 seconds apart. Probably how long it took him to eat the bugs he turned up.

There are several cranks with no effect, one with it catching then dying, then another with it catching and running a few moments before sputtering out. Traffic passes on a tree-lined street in the early spring, before the leaves have sprouted. Birds sing and there are several minutes of ambience. Then, a siren can be heard in the distance and eventually, a big fire engine passes, siren blaring and engine roaring.

This sound took me a while i used warehouse machinery at the beginning as the gun is turning to its target and when it finished with an alarm and light sound indicating its powering. The charge & fire sound is all synthesis layered several sounds on top with each other also using eq, compressor ect.
