This is a narrated sound-walk near my house. I will not add a geotag for the very reason of privacy. This is for an assignment for the music appreciation course of loyola high school. I heard music of justin bieber in a house nearby. I do not know what song title it was. I heard birds cawing from time to time in the skies above me. I also heard cars passing by, creating a sound called doppler effect. I can also hear the footsteps that i was making.

Jogging through a snowy forest at night. First half is on a path, the second half off path and uphill through the trees. Recorded with zoom h2.

Footstep sound on gravel road with dried leaves.

Using the remove hum tool on izotope rx2, i took out filtered out the hum that occurs in the 190-220 hz range. I believe any eq could filter that hum out at that range without affecting the bass in the footsteps. I believe the footsteps are in the 50-60 hz range anyway.

Clean walking on snow, with basic boots, recorded with a h5. Sometimes the snow was a little wet, creating variations of crunching. 48khz/24bit.

Recorded while on a walk in myneighborhood. Washed up on the street was amixture of sand, rocks, and loose gravel. In the background a bug can be heard that i wasunfortunately unable to edit out, but i hope its ok. (re-uploaded because i forgot to trim unwanted audio sections). -----. While i was recording the atmosphere of a park in tokyo, a helicopter suddenly passed over me. It didn't seem to be an attack chopper. Relieved. Somebody walked by in this very moment. At835st set to wide stereo mode and korg mr-1.

I recorded myself walking around the outer waiting area at my office. There are some very nice floorboard squeaks in here. Unfortunately, the environment isn't as quiet as i'd like; you can discern some traffic noise coming from outside the office building. Attribution isn't necessary, but i'd love to hear anything you use it in. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.
