This is a wave of some sounds that remind me of what sound design for the rugrats cartoon backing music. I made the sounds using an fm synthesis patch on the ios application "addictive synth" on my ipod touch and recorded the audio within the app. No post-processing was done to the audio. A quick sound that was created in fl studio using the wasp and a few effects like high pass filter.

2 oscilators. One panned to the left the other to the right. Random pitch lfo bent on different rate speeds. With a bit cusher set to a certain amount, and mix to give both the crush and the original.

A shimmering swell pad made by layering distortion and delay effects over a basic saw synth.

Messing around with a simulation of a modular synth making weird electronic noises for a few minutes. Great for chopping up into ~250ms segments to use as sci-fi ui noises.

Some synth sound i made maybe about a year ago. With actually a really simple soft synth, the fl studio wasp xt. Just got that synth to a certain pleasing setting, then put an lfo high pass and flange and the right amount of distortion. Enjoy.
