I was looking around for dialog audio similar to those in rpg games or platformers like "shantae", but was out of luck. Instead, i decided to experiment with an existing file, and use parts of it to make a similarly sounding dialog audio. (this was engineered using 131658__bertrof__game-sound-selection. Actually made from a note played on a trombone. I left out panning as these are great sounds to play and experiment acoustic space with.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.

I made this as a strange wake-up alarm. I was wondering at what point i will wake-up? what frequency will break my dream and bring me back on earth?. Created using audacity.

I made a project in cubase which had 12 tracks each playing a sine wave in a different note of the chromatic scale, each sine wave also had slightly varied lfos on volume and pitch. Then i put this sound through the soundtoys crystallizer plug and recorded it while manipulating various parameters. Ended up with 3 minutes of crazy glitched out sounds, use for anything you like!. It gets pretty out of control at some points so don't have your speakers up too loud :).
